Hazard Course Remake (AVAILABLE NOW!)

Alright, look. We’ve been working in our spare time. As Box said we’ve got more important business in real life to attend to. I’m with you that we be in the beta stage by now, but there was a lot of setbacks late last year. College applications, lacking some necessary team members in certain positions, etc.

I get that you might be frustrated at our speed, and believe me, I kind of am too. But coming in our tread and insulting us isn’t going to help anything but giving you a bad name. We’ve been much more open than most mod teams, and our closed alpha is closed because this allows us to get lots of in depth feedback and ideas instead of a huge amount of vague feedback we already know of.

Dude, I am not trying to insult you at all…

You sure have a funny way of putting it, coming into the thread and demanding that we should be at some point in development YOU think is right.

What are you, my mother?

Even my mother doesn’t make false claims. “Secluded development”? Are you serious?

The last time somebody said we were keeping too much a secret I (laughed, then) wrote up a pretty descriptive post summarizing our development up to that point, and that’s waaaay more than many other mod teams would give you. After that, Dky posted it on our ModDB.

But this discussion isn’t gonna get anywhere. We’re working at a speed quicker than our comfort zone because we want to get this out. I understand if you’re unhappy with it, but there’s not much we can do other than ship a crappy release.

A grudgingly-bestowed present for all the ingrates out there. You’re freaking welcome.

To everyone else, here’s a nice gift from me to you. Enjoy!

Heh.

Well, all my bitchiness seems to have payed of to some extend…

Still: You SUCK (Crypt)…

Obvious troll is obvious.
Don’t bother with him.

Just carry on with your fab work boys. Many of us are rooting for you.

I’m not sure whether that was supposed to be a lame attempt at a comeback, or a lame attempt at an insult.

Personal insults? Let us go back to “freakin’” Star Trek… Kiddo, I have no desire to personally insult you and/or any of your puny friends.

Yeah I figured. Always good to know that we’re famous enough to be trolled.

NOW you have proof that you are loved. Welcome to the club!

As much as I would like to concur with you general asessment: You are not that much ambigous as you would like to be. :fffuuu:

[COLOR=‘Red’]Topic, folks. Back to the Hazard Course remake talk. I am not above deleting posts and/or issuing infractions.

Ohhhh man, all those sideways crates? Somebody’s foreman is going to be furious :rage:

for all we know they are empty and just put their for means of some sort of test or something oh wait they are.

That’s what I had in mind. No one said they absolutely had to contain something to exist.

@Dky lol

There were already shitload of empty crates throughout the whole Black Mesa game. What does it matter if there are empty crates in the Hazard Course?

I think there was a bunch of junk props in the generic crates but I’m not really sure.

Some of them had junk props in them. Ram said most of them did in development, IIRC, but they had to cut down on them because it was making the maps run out of edicts and crash.
EDIT: On a related note, I’m back in business and have some time off next week. Hopefully I’ll be able to get stuff done.

Good. Out of curiosity, what’s your first order of business?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
