Im never offended by anything like this. If someone wishes me anything like happy holidays or happy hannukka (which has happened) I smile, wish them back their same holiday and say thank you. I expect everyone to do the same and be happy that I’m wishing them a good holiday no matter the occasion. Anyone disrespecting me or my religion because I said such a thing is being the true asshole.

Please, lets go back to your badly defended argument. If every single minority bitches and moans about every single thing that inadvertently offends them then no one will be able to celebrate anything. I believe it was dinothrasher, but I’m not sure, said his school had to take down their Christmas store. Everyone was enjoying it, but just because ONE family decided to make a fuss of it the entire school had to miss out on it. I’m a part of several minorities, and I don’t go everywhere bitching and moaning about stuff that “offends” my minority. When I’m having dinner with religious people and they say grace, I say grace.
Now mind you I’m only talking about minor and inadvertently offensive things, if someone walks around calling a black person a n*gger the person has every right to complain. Respecting other people’s beliefs is important, but you need to find a sane balance between tip toeing on eggshells and running around insulting people like an asshole.
