Halo: Reach VGA Trailer

“Chief, stack those crates by that window pronto!”

:jizz:

And that would be end of bungle.

Let us just hope that some day, in some point in time, this Halo game will get released for the good old PC.

I mean the post someone made about high resolution textures, that level of detail is not possible on the 360 without framerate issues. I will still go round to my friends house to play it on his 360 though, as Halo is a great online game.

I, uhm, really don’t understand why people are so excited over this video from the graphics standpoint. It looks pretty much on par with any other video game trailer, maybe a bit less pretty than the norm on PCs.

And the “hey, it’s rendered on our game engine!” claim is bullshit anyway. It most probably isn’t rendered in real time, it isn’t how the game is. Maybe a close approximation.

It’s not that I think the game will be bad; it’ll probably be pretty good, as far as Halo is concerned. But my, how our standards have shortened!

“Hey, that video has some kind of script! The different cuts are related! The cuts are each longer than 3 seconds! I’M IN LOVE”

I hate their faces. Check out the person at 1:07. She’s made of wood.

And what’s with that guy that’s all dressed up in costume, with the reddish armour and the skull painted over his face? (Yah, that looks like a practical choice for when you’ll be trying to aim a rifle at the bad guys, dumbass).

Then the squad leader guy telling our protagonist guy to “leave that loan wolf stuff behind” while he has that other moron in the squad who is obviously completely out of uniform.

I plan to get this game when it comes out. Trailer looks pretty nice too.

I too hate it when people say lol, win, fail, or epic.

You heard it here first, folks. The new Halo title will be centered on forcing alien troops and suburban homeowners to accept insecure investments under threats of violence.

I didn’t use “Win” or “Fail” in complete sentences. I used a :jizz: smiley and posted a picture.

Though it is a funny comic, and very true.

A picture which consisted of ‘epic win’ as a stand-alone sentence. I hate it when people use ‘epic’ as prefixes to anything, too. It’s just… so goddamn lame.

I agree. Your post is an Epic Win.

Everything in the trailer reminds me of all the Halos I’ve played before…

I’m just seeing this cash-cow shrivel and twitch…

OR it’s the fact that it’s another Halo game, which means it’s in a similar style of, oh I don’t know, A HALO GAME!

The gameplay difference between Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Half-Life 2 are minuscule, yet Episode 2 was far better than Half-Life 2. Think of that before posting “omg this is da same game lol”

I dunno, it’s just that Halo was always really generic and never really seemed to innovate so much, and making a fifth game is just really stretching this one out.

Halo: Awesome for it’s time, a good shooter for Microsoft’s new console.

Halo 2: Campaign is short and disappointing, multiplayer makes up for it.

Halo 3: Campaign is short and disappointing, pretty much the same multiplayer.

ODST: Campaign is short and disappointing, horde-based co-op mode, multiplayer IS Halo 3’s multiplayer

Halo Reach: _______________

Spartans, Covenant, and shooting we can expect and know will be present. And I’m not expecting a ton more…

Plus episode two wasn’t a sequel, it was an episode…

It was part of what was supposed to be a full game with each episode costing $20 at launch. So if you want every part of the Half-Life 2 Episodes, you need to pay $60 over time.

Though Episode 1 got a price cut, so now it’s $50 total for all Episodes. Still, that’s a full priced PC game.

And you should get them in the orange box, so it was twenty for both episodes. And they are still episodes, and so should not be expected to revolutionize gaming as Half Life 2 did, even over time, although with the amount of time Episode 3 is taking, I’m not sure if they forgot they were doing episodes. As a side note the Fallout 3 addons cost 50 dollars and they didn’t advance the game play concept. Some would say some of them took away from it.

Poor Bungle.
