THAT’S MY FUCKING POINT!
That’s what I’ve been saying since I got on the internet! But apparently some elitist dicks need to seperate the “men” from the “boys” and that only those that can beat Mega Man II on Hard and loose no health can be considered “real” gamers.
You heard wrong. The only thing you can use a keyboard on the 360 for is to write text messages to friends and other players.
So, I see you’re playing with autistic children? Good for you.
Don’t get me wrong, 360 and PS3 are great, but they’re in their own class.
Halo 3 is a very decent game, but you’re trying to make it sound like it was made by god. It is OK. It is a GOOD GAME. It is NOT PERFECT. There are BETTER GAMES. I hope you ENJOY PLAYING IT.
I lol’d. I don’t use the “average WASD,” on the PC, so I don’t have this problem. I can do a jump-backflip-tailspin-headshot-landonaroof without any problems.
This wasn’t supposed to be a Console vs PC thread. But then again, Garth knew how the people in these forums work i[/i], so maybe he’s just a VERY successful troll. Awesome.
To be fair, it’s actually a minority here that hate consoles, it’s just the very vocal ones that make it seem like there are more than there actually are. (EX Team Fortress 2 steam forums and anything posted in there.)
I’m sorry, but that is a HUGE mindfuck! Goldeneye is the DEFINITION of a stereotypical console FPS, with bad controls, bad graphics, limited multiplayer, and there where SO MANY better FPS games on the PC at the time.
Halo had excellent console controls and rarely uses auto-aim. Goldeneye uses auto-aim all the time and controls horribly.
Halo had good graphics for the time, with Halo 2 skullfucking Halo 1’s graphics, followed by a nice upgrade in Halo 3, followed by ODST’s AMAZING use of lighting. Goldeneye looks like shit!
Halo had system-link with allowed up to 16 players, and Halo 2 skullfucked that with XBox Live. The N64 had no online multiplayer, and you can only have 4 players.
I can understand that you don’t like Halo, but how is Goldeneye any better?!
But let’s stop comparing Halo to Goldeneye, because that isn’t fair. But compare it to FPS games on the PC at the time, and you’ll see that it’s not that special.
Goldeneye was only considered great because it was on the N64, where a slightly decent FPS was hard to come by.
See how my argument is interchangeable with Halo? That’s the point. I’m sure Goldeneye was awesome at the time.
I don’t like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark because they were revolutionary (altough PD had some pretty awesome weapons), I know they weren’t, but because I grew with those two games.
