I’ve played halo 1 2 and 3 on the xbox including multiplayer and singleplayer, and I would rather finish half life again 20 times than replaying one of the halo games once again.

Golden Eye is leagues above all Halo games in terms of MP and SP, even today.

I don’t remember shitty controls, I remember it being awesome.

I remember awesome gamemodes like Mines and Slaps only, play halo 3, oh joy, shotty snipers, again.

Can I just throw in here a gripe with Halo: CE? Yes? Good. I play it sometimes at school (There aren’t many actually good games you can get for a mac, and my computer can run none of them), and I have discovered that almost no thought was put into the multiplayer with more than two to four people. essentially, two people get the banshees and then everyone gets spawn camped. What fun. Although it is possible to bring down a banshee with a shotgun (I have gotten quite proficient at this after all the times some one tried to kill me by running into me), its an annoying a broken system. Anytime a major element of the game is declared “noobish” because it allows for way to many kills in unskilled hands, a game is fundamentally broken and needs to be reworked. Anyway, I’ve just been getting really annoyed as of late at Halo, even though I don’t play it much.

Ironically (not you in particular) it is the people who dislike halo who are posting moronically in this thread. At least everyone here managed to come up with complete sentences. Though I like Halo I was just sitting in the sidelines here not taking sides, and I was being honest when I said a large chunk of Halo fans do lack the ability to form complete sentences.
