I am highly pissed at Bungie for not having released it by now. Halo 3 is a spectacular game and would be even more amazing with the ability to mod and not having to use a shitty controller.

It took them a year to realse Halo on PC and 3 years for Halo 2. So I predict Halo 3 will be available around 2012.
Halo is fun imo. consoles are cool and a controller is just as good. im all greased up and ready to fight anyone who disagrees with me about videogames
Just because us forumers love half-life doesn’t mean we hate every other game in existence.
Then fight we will. Consoles are alright because of splitscreen and stability, but a controller just can’t compare to a mouse and keyboard, and that isn’t an opinion, that’s a fact. Controllers are less accurate, less customizeablility (is that a word?:retard 
, not enough buttons, and finally bad button placement. (in halo, for example, you cannot melee and turn at the same time)

Halo 3 (or all of Halo really) is mediorce, made to sell, not made to be good.
Generic Earth is best story, with generic hero is hero character, plot ripped from so many other plots it’s not funny.
A generic game with generic gameplay mechanics, Halo was hardly ever revolutionary or top of the line, it never did anything that a FPS hadn’t done before nor did it do anything better then any other FPS had done.
There are worse games out there, but not by much.

It’s defiantly the cleanest. I’ve played over 1000 games (according to Bungie.net) and almost none of them had any lag. Matchmaking is fast, and, thanks to Forge, there’s always something new to play on (in one of the “unique” playlist that is.)
Get a few friends in a party and you’re set.

Frankly, I don’t like Half-Life that much. “Oh hey, interactive cutscenes and generic shoot em’ up gameplay! Oh, but we don’t want it to be like DOOM so we’re going to make the pace slower that fuck! Best game ever right?..right?”

I’ve gotta agree, Halo 3’s multiplayer is among the most addictive and replayable in the genre. Other than some occasional annoying xbox live users, i can’t fault it. While i love half life’s story over Halo’s standard fare scifi lore, Halo’s campaign (and gameplay) has much more replay value and challenge. The only real reasons i see it being criticized for, is for being a console game, and having a somewhat overzealous fanbase (which isn’t saying much when you look at this forum).
