I bet they’ll do something, I don’t want to speculate though. Better just wait and see at this point.

I’m expecting something along these lines -

  • Random fan: “Hey Gabe, it’s been 15 years since the release of the original Half-Life, do you have anything to say on the matter?”
  • Gabe Newell: “What half-life? I’m sorry, but I haven’t heard of that before.”
  • Random fan: “But!!..”
  • Gabe Newell: “The word is final, don’t make me repeat myself and don’t you dare mention number three, else you will get kicked out of the building”
  • Random fan: “Oh, o…kay. What about a lunch?”
  • Gabe Newell: “Now that’s within my dictionary”

Maybe they’ll remake the game on the Source engine and release it as an unfinished mod.

Well, maybe Valve finally announce Half-Life 3.
Maybe some modders finish their remake.
Maybe I should just give my hopes up… :frowning:
P.S. Seriously, it would be awesome if BMS team released Xen part on original’s Birthday, but alas, that is very unlikely…
