Half-Life is getting 15 on November 19

He may be remarkably obnoxious, but he’s probably right, at least this once.

Yes I was, and FYI: That was five years ago.

…shit, he’s right. TF2 feels like it’s been around for a lot longer than that.

By the way, I think that makes you the second youngest on the forum.

s-second?

Hey, don’t look at me, I’m full adult, and the only thing forbidden to me by the laws due to age is a gun license… (Actually, I just don’t meet the requirements for the early eligibility…)

Also:

Happy Birthday Half-Life!

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that something cool happens, but I won’t be holding my breath.

So far, nothing’s happening, still, I hope at least SOMETHING Half-Life related happens…

I sent an email to Gabe with a picture of a Portal cake in it to celebrate. Wonder if he’ll actually respond.

^ Give this man a medal!
P.S. Would be awesome if he does!

Okay, so there IS some HL related news today.

I knew it the moment I saw the ESRB rating on the site.

F**k yeah!!!

When I was 12, Tim Berners-Lee first conceived of the World Wide Web and the first text message was sent. Half-Life was still 9 years away.

Off mah lawn, youn’ whippersnappers!

When I was twelve, Episode 2 came out…

Shit, suddenly I feel kinda young.

This is the second time someone’s gone to the trouble of making image macros for me.

When I was 12 Windows XP and GTA III had just came out.

And I’m still 12, just in reverse.

When I was 12 we had recently signed our first internet subscription. 0.5Mbps, It was 2006, in sweden… My parents thought for a long time that the internet would never be useful as anything else than a time-killer for common people.
Also, 0.5Mbps, even at that time, was abysmal in sweden. Today we have 8/0.5Mbps, we could have atleast 50Mbps but we haven’t connected the fiber to the house.

Will this have multi thread support?

Oh, and when I was 12 John F. Kennedy was still alive.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
