and like i said… “HL3” will probably be short like an episode and only be 2-3 years and if it is next gen and uber good id wait 6 years for HL3 like i did for HL2 but they leave the end of hl2 open so much so to wait 6 years to see what happens after hl2 would have killed me for the wait if it was 6+ years unlike at the end of half life1 where after you kill nihilith (forgot the real name) G-man holds you in captivity or watever so its not as open so for hl2 they made episodes that were small and could be relesed one at a time with updates and fixes and reveals the story every 2 years rather than the whole thing after 6

You sure? Thanks to cheesetastic 1998 graphics, you can’t really tell. I think he got shorter, though. That, or Stastis has made Gordon slower and taller. Just look at the HEV suit compared to Barney and Kleiner. Gordon’s got to be like 7’4", 520 lbs. with a posse!

i think its more like 6’6’’ if you ask me and 520 lbs is aittle much… more like 300
and maby the technology is so advanced that the suit is made bigger then it shrinks to fit whomever its wearing…

i think it would be awesome if in HL3 you launch a final attack on the combine and its an all out war on earth and you have to push the combine forces back to thier planet and then cross over through a giant portal that was made in EP3 and fight them on the combine world, and its not like those battles in the city where you see maby 4 other people… although those fight scenes were awesome or like at the end of ep2 were there are a few more… im talking about the entire rebel army like 200 people just following Gordon and you have this all out war and take out the combine leaders and planet… and just as you get close… g-man puts gordon in a stasis and right after he does… the combine planet self-destructs and leaveing you… miliseconts from death… he also prolly saves alyx since she will be with you…
add to this idea if you like… make one uber stroy line

Whoah, that’s huge. And keeping in mind that, apparently, Gordon isn’t overweight, he has packed on over 400 pounds of pure, clean muscle mass. Now I understand how he manages to swing the crowbar around.
with valve… you never know… or they could add that as the ending of ep3 after you open a portal after whatever in the borealus and just fight them back and shit and the g-man takes you aside and says… “Good Mr. Freeman very good. I may need your help sometime in the near future and must honor our contract, Mr. freman… so long for now… oh and i also saved that friend of yours… i figure she may be of some use to me” … start HL3

Its not that I liked it, it’s been said in articles that Ep3 will be the end of the Combine story arc.
Can you post a link to one of those articles stating that? i only recall Ep3 being the end of the HL2 story arc…
That sounds a bit out of character for the G-man, to be honest. Perhaps he could say “She may be of some use to us.” G-man seems to not be working alone.
I think HL3 will be all about Gordon trying to get to the bottom of just who the G-man is and who he’s working for.
Just a thought…
