Or the camera zooms out and shows gordons face, he’s just about to say something and BAM killed by SpyCake (CAKE IS A SPY)
:hmph:
Has anyone theorized yet that Gordon might be a cyborg like Chell? Even if so, I think that’d make an interesting storyline pillar in HL3.
I want whatever you’re on, because so far the only cyborgs in HL or Portal, are the combine. And no, Eli and his leg don’t count.
Except that Chell isn’t a cyborg.
Yes, GlaDOS does call her “android” on one occasion, but that is because it’s an automated message for the android test chamber, which replaced the test chamber which Chell was supposed to go to because of maintenance.
Android! Not cyborg, sorry.
That we know of. It’s just one theory.
( Ps - you’re trying too hard. Wink. )
Irony.
I’m not dead set on Gordon actually being an android, it’s just that I think it would be a possible twist thrown our way some time in the future.
Or maybe he’s a ghost. Or maybe not… Or maybe he’s just a human.
He’s resurrected by Alyx’s grand, grand, grand, grandchild, 100 years later? That means it’s someone younger than 20 who is the child of 5 generations which all started families before age 20.
Okay, so then 150 year old Gordon flees to the moon where he fights to put an end to a society that has collapsed from this widespread lack of proper child upbringing, by reactivating the alien’s suppression field with the help of Alyx’s 100 year old daughter, who then has a stroke just as the credits roll… right?
I think EA are going to buy it from VALVE and make gordon a fat Sim. He then go to the combine world and talks to the advisor quen (wich is Michael jackson revived by Gman to lead them!). But as Sims talks like retards the quen cant understand him. Gordon then eats all the advisors and the quen. He gets even fater and when he returns he get stuck in the teleport. The earth is low on food and people starts to eat at him. You will play as Alyx or barney to protect gordon from the hungry zombies and people. Co-op will be included.
:hmph:
that’s retardly interesting :-?
It seems about as possible as all the other ideas people have posted so far. :meh:
I believe that Gman is infact Gordon Freeman. However, The Gman is Gordon Freeman from the future. Here are my reasons:
-
The Gman’s eyes are bright green, the same as Gordon’s.
-
The G in Gman could stand for Gordon.
-
The Gman never lets Gordon die. This would be because if he did, then the Gman would cease to exist.
-
Gordon never talks, probably because he has the same voice as the Gman. Who would want to talk like that anyway?
So in HL3, The Gman finally confesses to Gordon about his true identity. Then, Gordon is told about his abilities (the kind that the Gman posesses). Using his abilities, Gordon looks into the Gman’s mind and finds that he is telling the truth. But he also sees pain and anguish, as Alyx, Gordon’s future wife (Ugh), was held captive and Gordon was forced to become the anonymous Gman, finding “dangerous individuals” and putting them in stasis. But then Alyx was killed by the strange forces that held onto the Gman’s mind and the Gman rebelled. He now has half of his mind in his control. But as soon as he is about to tell Gordon what to do, The Gman is kiled by an alien. After defeating the new threat, Gordon then realises that he must save his older self from becoming this “slave” and more importantly, prevent Alyx from being killed. He must venture to the remains of Black Mesa, then go deep underground, to find new allies that will help him defeat the alien force.
More Zombies and Aliens.
Killing sprees.
Hilarity ensues.
That is what I think anyway. I believe that it could be possible.
Havent you posted that in another thread?
Well done, Captain obvious.
I KNOW that I posted his in another thread. I just put it before the story so people would know why I think that the Gman could be an older version of Gordon.
And can’t people just comment about whether my theory is plausible or not, rather than nit picking about how many times this was posted?
Also note:
I do believe that I am one of the very FEW who have these sensible ideas.
And before you object, having Gordon turn into a fat sim is NOT sensible. It is absurd.
Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance make babies on the planet Mars in the end. There’s your ending for you.
Considering that the Combine story arc is apparently going to end after Episode 3, my idea for Half-Life 3 would be Gordon somehow teaming up with the Vortigaunts against the G-Man, as to me he seems like he might turn against Gordon at some point. I don’t have any clear idea, as we would need Episode 3 to make any sort of properly educated guess.
