EDIT: Also, regarding graphical expectations for HL3, I don’t think we have any worries about whether the Source Engine is, uhm, ‘powerful’ enough (for lack of a better term).

That’s without any NPCs I think though. Source apparently has an entity limit so I don’t think there can be as much detail as that and have NPCs. Not quite sure what exactly an entity is though so please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Wow, thanks for that. I had never heard of Dear Esther before. I just watched the two videos they’ve put up of the remake. I don’t think I’ve said “wow” that many times in my head in quite awhile. The more amazing part is that the videos are already a year and a half old…
