Half Life 2 For Mac

It appears that Valve will be releasing Half Life 2, as well as episode 1 and 2 for mac tomorrow. They’ve also made a video which parodies the 1984 mac ad. Discuss!

lolol @ video.

The rest is old news.

Isn’t there like eleventy of these threads already?

I hope they are making this stuff to prepare us to the announcement of the release date for EP3.

By now I would be happy with knowing the date we will KNOW the date when the release date for EP3 is announced :stuck_out_tongue:

Way to encourage people to play the games in order, Valve.

I kid, this is good news.

:retard:

I lolled at the 1984 parody advertisement

I’d jizz myself if the next Source iteration looks like that

I hope this also means that they’re putting the OB engine versions of HL2 and Ep1, including achievements, which, if true, means also the PC is getting those, since the Mac and PC version of the games are virtually the same.

:3

I think some people need to look up the meaning of “parody” and the difference between that and “tribute” (or “homage”).

Oh hey guys welcome to 6 years ago.

Why are there Nova Prospekt guards in the Citadel? :hmph:

For those that don’t know what it’s based off.

how could anybody not know that?

i really hope they’ll bring hl2 for windows to the source engine.
and announce ep3.

EDIT: steam is updating hl2 and ep1 right now.

Anyway, it seems I was right after all. They updated HL2 and Ep 1 to the Orange Box engine.

So yea, all hail Steam for Mac, because it brought achievements the EP2 engine for all both HL2 and EP1!

@Maxey:
you know what i meant. i just forgot some words.

Blinkin’ flip! It’s not just HL2 for the Mac, but Ep1 and Ep2 too! So with Portal already on OS X, the only thing missing is TF2. Oh, and Ep3.

EDIT: Oh, the OP already said Ep1 & Ep2. I’m getting a bit too excited and not reading things properly.

And CSS (sadly), and L4D1-2, and DoDS, and GMod (even more sad)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
