But without artifacts to sell or mutants to fight everyone would immediately shoot each other.
How bout’ an EMP? Wipe out all electronics, cars, ect.
These are all “arms”, aren’t they? I’m wondering if there are any self-proclaimed “2nd Amendment Supporters” in our ranks so I could ask them about it.
If, as they say, the government cannot restrict gun ownership to law-abiding citizens based upon the 2nd Amendment (which does not use the word “guns”), then I wonder how they feel about all of these other kinds of “arms”.
I just fail to see why any non-city worker needs anything greater than a bus pass or bicycle anyway. If you say it’s for freedom then maybe you should start lobbying for better public transit rather than driving yourselves.
lol wut
logic fail?
People ask “why should anyone need a gun?” or “We live in a civilized society guyz, nothing could ever go wrong! Lololol.”
Well, I own guns because I can own guns. Because it is protected under my natural property rights, and my natural right to self preservation and defense. We do not need a reason.
Many things are dangerous, cars for example. Remember that many more people die every day in car accidents than in gun accidents. Yet, we do not hear the same outrage over autos, we do not hear the cries for the state to regulate or eliminate altogether the usage of cars.
I personally use my guns for sport shooting and deer hunting, but would most likely own them even if I didn’t. Nothing could get me to part with my M1 Garand.
You seem to ignore the fact that guns are specifically designed to kill things, and cars aren’t.
Okay, Diabeetus, can you answer my question? It’s right above your first post on this page.
car…gun
yeah, that’s a pretty major difference
Further, since my state, Minnesota legalized conceal and carry, to the great dismay of many left leaning citizens and their cries of downtown Minneapolis turning into the old west, and their vitriolic slander of “rednecks”, crime has actually gone down. And not one permitted conceal and carry holder has been charged with a gun crime. The stats show that more guns = less crime.
I don’t know you guys do things in Minnatoba, That’s not really how it works on this planet
Well, I think the events of the 20th century have shown us that laws do very little to discourage madmen from using weapons of mass destruction against fellow humans haven’t they? Will a simple law really stop someone from using chemical, biological or nuclear weapons? Murder is already illegal no?
Statistics disagree with you.
According to the FBI, violent crime in the United States, including murder and robbery, dropped 4.4 percent in the first half of 2009 and property crime like car thefts also dropped. This is despite record sales of guns and ammunition in the US.
Tell that to every warzone, ghetto, and generally impoverished corner of the planet.
if it’s dropping, it’s not because paranoid rightwingers are arming themselves to the teeth to shoot a stranger at the drop of a hat.
We are talking about America, not Iraq.
Clearly you need to step outside of the midwest and take the blinders off, buckaroo
I work in the “ghetto” everyday. The people in the "ghetto: are mostly nicer then the people in my rural neighborhood. The problems in warzones are caused by corrupt governments and corrupt PEOPLE, not guns.
Dis the invention of the gun cause all suffering in the world? NO. Has freedom dramatically increased in the world when arms were readily available to opressed peoples? Yes.
Have you ever been to a warzone or a ghetto? Have you ever shot a gun?
You seem to have a warped view of the topic. Just because a person practices his right to self defense and gun ownership does not make them a rabid gunman waiting to “shoot a stranger at the drop of a hat”. Get out of moms basement.
Oh boy, “freedom.”
Care to elaborate?
no, yes, and yes
No, i just don’t choose to shut out reality because it inconveniences my republican ideology
Indeed it doesn’t, but people love excuses.
huhu
You didn’t answer my question.
