3 was still pretty good…
I’m just depressed by Tiki’s responses now. It’s scary how someone who writes like an intelligent person can make such nonsensical and conflicting points… Starting to wonder whether he’s just trollin’.

In regards to ‘debating’ with Tiki (who’s reminding me more and more of Black Op now):
“Never argue with a fool, lest onlookers be unable to tell the difference.”
More seriously, just drop it now guys. If he doesn’t want to play TF2 it’s just his loss.
I’m glad you all haven’t tried defending Sim City Societies… that game disappointed me beyond words
I haven’t played TF2, and I only tried expressing my complaints with it, complaints that left me disappointed with its release. I do plan to eventually try it out. If the game has enough innovative and redeeming qualities to override my complaints, so be it…I will have no choice but to be satisfied.
Until that experience, I still oppose those six specific qualities being present in games.
and a closing statement on The People v. Tiki [503 U.S. 78 (2009)]:
I’ve never said a game had to be realistic to be decent. It was very dishonest to have propagated that as my argument. Insults ad hominem, calling contradiction, and I still hadn’t seen any citations to back up your claim.
In future debates you should give your opponent a proof of positive if you want to avoid being misconstrued as mindless, as they should in no way be required to form a proof of absence to defend themselves. That would entail citing everything prior.
I just got dissapointed with America’s Army 3
lulz.
I’m dissapointed by hl2dm. just because no one plays it.
Oh my god, Brother Shrike you are a genius! I can’t believe I forgot HL2DM
It was originally very disappointing because HL2 shipped without it, and then a few months after its release it lost the charm and originality of toilet kills.
I have a head ache. Okay, what ever! You win! Just shut up and let my brain recover!
Oh thank God. there is hope afterall!
The game is filled with servers with poorly made custom maps, zero gravity, and Quake/UT sounds.
I was originally disappointed with Half-Life 1 multiplayer, but only because I came late to the party and couldn’t get it to work until I registered it on steam.
Also, I was disappointed with Descent I&II, but only because I played the very awesome Descent 3 first.
[EDIT]: although I must be fair and say that I did get Descent I&II just a year ago, and that Lamsey is correct.
Descent 1 and 2 were awesome for the time, but if you played Descent 3 first then it will have been very dated by the time you got around to them. At the time, though, they were truly groundbreaking.
There’s nothing better than 360 3D action in the Descent trilogy. As for games that I am disappointed in, the list would include:
Agent Under Fire
Perfect Dark Zero
Goldeneye: Rogue Agent
Isn’t Agent Under Fire the one with the cool multiplayer involving grappling hooks and limited jetpacks?
Also, Rogue Agent never looked good.
Yeah, that’s the one. The jetpack and the hooks make the multiplayer worthwhile. The multiplayer in Goldeneye (the original classic) is a lot better if you want to have lots of multiplayer fun. However, the single player in Agent Under Fire was terrible. When it comes to Bond games, I’ll take the single player experience of Goldeneye for 1st place and Quantum of Solace for 2nd. As for Rogue Agent, the game sucked on single and multiplayer. I never did care to play as a Bond villain. They should have just made another Bond game instead of Rogue Agent.
They should have stopped at Nightfire, really…
lmfao, you can’t be serious…
oh my, you are… that’s horrible.
Spore
Fable 2
AdventureQuest Worlds (:retard
Thats all i can think of right now.
Grand theft auto 4…
Call of Duty 2
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Zeno Clash
STALKER: The Shadow of Chernobyl
Hitman: Codename 47
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Rainbow Six: Vegas
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Assassins Creed.
I could keep on going.
Prince Of Persia 2008:- I can’t think of anything in it that wasn’t made worse then the SOT trilogy games
Oblivion
Neverwinter Nights:- Was expecting its single player to be up to par with Baldur’s Gate
Half Life 2: Episode 2- It feels like HL is stagnating gameplay wise, but I’m still hopeful for EP3
Far Cry 2- Not Far Cry 2 in any sense of the thought and gameplay just feels… off.
Bioshock:- Padded out with pointless combat too much, the ending is horrible.
Jade Empire: Terrible combat and flat characters from what I could stand playing of it.
Edit: Grand Theft Auto IV
i identify myself with view about hl2+, as it could not be called a half-life continuation just because it has crowbar and headcrabs all around.
Do you mean all Half Life’s must take place in Black Mesa? I’ve actually seen that argument before and it’s pretty ridiculous. HL2 works quite nicely as a sequel.
HL2 has:-
-continuation of events from the first game.
-Returning Alien species (Headcrab-Zombie-Itchyosaur-leeches-Vortigaunt)
-Returning characters (Gordon,G-Man,Barney)
-returning weapons/items (crowbar, HEV Suit, Crossbow, Shotgun, RPG)
