Games That you were dissappointed with

Maybe so, but I don’t remember it.

I didn’t get that far into it.

I am sorry to hear this. There are a number of possible reasons for your perception:

  • Monitor too small
  • Difficulty-setting too easy
  • Player does not have patience
  • Player does not enjoy brutal weather

Sorry if these have already been said:
Command and Conquer 3 (except Kane, he’s as good as always)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (With the first one as good as it was, this holds no love from me)

Empire: Total War (Aside from the fact that I killed a video card playing it, I did not enjoy this game as much as Medieval II or Rome, and I had a lot of expectations)

Fable 2 (Much like some of the others, if this was it’s own game it would’ve been terrible. But coming from Fable to this was a big disappointment)

Sprite Zero (Quite possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve put in my mouth. Have fun with that one. Oh I realize it’s not a game, it’s just that damn disgusting)

Age of Empires III (bleh)

Spore (A longshot from what I was expecting, it was somewhat entertaining, but I was expecting some crazier shit instead of the provided materials)

Amidoinitrite

EDIT: Er…I was agreeing with you, Comrade, just to clarify. I love S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

After what Mr.Shadow said, you are now in my good books.

EDIT: The STALKER series is an odd one. I keep trying to like SoC, and failing. However, I love reading about other people’s forays into the game…

Them’s fightin’ words > :frowning: . I love Sprite Zero.

Really? Because when I first drank it I was all like, “Oh yeah! This tastes as delicious as Sprite!” And then the rotten-hamburger aftertaste hit me. bleh

I’m not sure what he said, but thanks!

He said that Fable II was the best non-FPS game he’d every played. To which I replied “It must be the only one you’ve played.”

Alone In The Dark for 360. Gameplay was ok, graphics were decent, story was alright…up until the ending(s). Did both of 'em and was like, WTF!!! Completely ruined the whole point of all the time I’d spent playing it. WORST. GAME. EVAR.

I just happen to like it. Is it that bad?

Saying it’s the best non-FPS is more than liking it. But yes, liking it would be bad too.

Whatever. starts not caring

My worst dissapointments are:
Race Driver: GRID
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Crysis
Far Cry (both games)
And Im very annoyed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is steambased. I love the game itself, but all the cheating online and lack of dedicated servers makes it very annoying at times!

Audiosurf- sorry I just don’t see the fun, either way most of my music is too slow to make it hard in any way

GTA San Andreas- a game about crime? boring

Any game that refuses to make a PC version or doesn’t do it properly

Grand Theft Auto 4 -It made me lose my interest in the series.
Heroes of Might and Magic 4 - Didn’t quite stand up to my expectations after II and III
Dark Sector - The sound…it will forever haunt me.

That’s just dumb.

Borderlands.
That is all.

Doom 3. I think it’s been mentioned before. After all the hype and the fact that I used it as an excuse to myself to build a faster computer to be confronted with mile after mile of pretty but otherwise identical corridors and a plot that actually managed to make less sense than the original games!

Manhunt 2, worse gamplay than Manhunt someone played Manhunt 2 PC?

I own Doom 3 and I’ve used the .exe, but never actually played it. The only thing I have it for is this: https://www.thedarkmod.com/

Also, I’ve been playing TF2 against bots. They only work on the KOTH maps without cheats (means I can still get some items legitimately while I’ve got this awful connection), but it’s pretty fun. It’s interesting how Valve has made them act like human players - not really seen bots handled like that before.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
