You mean like how most FPS’s are shoot, run, shoot, cover, shoot, shoot, blow up, run, shoot. The end?
Seriously, that’s lame reasoning. It was a fun game anyway, if you disregard the combat.

Yeah, I was disappointed with that too… There were an awful lot of linear levels in Mirror’s Edge (sewers, subways, mall, factory, boat, shard) and relatively little rooftop-running, which is easily the best part of the game. I agree that adding a free-run mode where you deliver packages from point A to point B (potentially randomized start and end locations to extend re-playability) with any amount of ways in between to get there would have made the game vastly better.
He’s full of it.
They actually screwed with us. Fucking teaser trailers.
i was probally most dissappointed with
Quake 3
Red faction 2
Arma: Armed assault
resident evil 4
Tom calncys end war
and Any unreal game thats not the original or unreal tourniment 1
Totally loving the idea of free runs/delivery in Mirror’s Edge, that would rock. Has anyone tried out the time trial DLC?
…physics?
eh…
I heard it’s all the same routes, only with the timer to beat.
Spore, it was fun, but the way they showed it in that E3 video made me expect something more.
Not that. That’s part of the game: same areas, different routes and a timer. Quite fun. I was talking about a collection of abstract levels specifically for timed runs.
I loved the film and when i heard about the game i was so happy, But I was really let down it is NOTHING like the film and has a very poor story line .
And also at the end of the film they KILL the thing how the hell did it come back? > It never explains
Rdjp, that’s three massive necroposts. You’re going to get yourself banned.
List of games, that I was dissapointed:
*Half-Life: Source (You know why. It obvious)
*Need For Russia Greatest Cars From CCCP (Don’t ask… Really - don’t)
*Call Of Duty - World At War (Seriously - this game was ekhm - boring)
*European Street Racing (Epic fail in everything, meaby water in this game is fine, but - what can I expectfrom game like this one?)
*Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (Hmm… Meaby I’ve just want too much from this title)
*S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Shadow Of Chernobyl (Sorry, but for me it was just boring)
P.S. Sorry if I make any mistakes, I’m from Poland, and my english is not so fluently as I want…
I’m gonna punch you in the face. Seriously.
Sorry, call me insane but did you just compare a Racing game, woosh woosh woosh, with Portal (a FPS puzzle game) sorry i just dont see the connection. :retard:
(yes i also made your paragraph slightly more readable.)
He compared their story’s lengths. That works, actually.
Sorry, call me insane, but did you just quote the first post in this already ancient thread?
i wish unreal 2 didn’t suck so much…
the first one is definitely one of my favorite games
While this thread’s here, though…
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
The mission like story just didn’t fit for an MGS title and the comic book cutscenes I didn’t like either
Prototype
It was a fun game but it just got way too repetitive for my tastes.
Haven’t we already argued about whether Prototype was repetitive or not?
Not to mention that it completely fucks up the canon.
Why the hell did they bring back Sokolov? They could of had Dr.Petrovic from the old MSX games, but noooooo. We get a character that was supposed to fucking die with no real reason other than the game desperately needs to find ways to connect with MGS3, no matter how dumb.
Not only that, but it fucked up Gray Fox’s backstory too…
And “required to understand MGS4’s story” my ass! It was barely fucking mentioned!
