I’m really enjoying it aswell, but does anyone else find the HUD really intrusive? You have notifications popping up every 5 bloody seconds, I just want to go and explore! I wish there was some way you could turn off the objective markers, and the flashing dead bodies and collectables. Also how you can see the solid outline if an enemy goes behind a wall or object. It just ruins the immersion for me.
I know this is late, but what is it with character modelers and deltoids with freakishly deep ends?
I think that’s the texture stretching.
There’s that ofc, but the cut for that particular mass is so fucking deep. All the time. I can’t.
That’s just how he is.
You should have seen his tirade in the original AC3 thread. Maybe I can find it somehow…
I get crapton of money and my wallet is full all the time. Even though my wallet is upgraded to 6000$
Gotta keep spendin’
Yeah, but on what. You eventually get most if not all weapons for free.
Yep. I believe you even mentioned an oversight yesterday that involved having a full wallet and crapsack? And because of that, you can’t sell your items (you can’t drop them to my knowledge, either). So you’re stuck in this strange limbo of being unable to make room for your cash or items.
You can drop plants if you need more space.
That was pre-wipe. It’s probably gone.
We’ll never forget though.
He’ll never live it down.
I was hoping I could find it in an internet archive.
So no one else finds the HUD intrusive and immersion breaking? Really?
I guess I never responded lol
I do a bit. Like when I’m in-between missions and just want to explore, the objective reminder is kind of annoying in how it keeps popping up. The whole “you can see through walls, now” thing is kind of strange, but whatever.
I’m not the only one that has an issue with it:

I really hope they patch it soon.
Mhm, same. Unless you use a syringe, you really shouldn’t be able to track the enemies through the walls.
Sometimes the driving AI does hilarious things. I saw this jeep full of pirates drive towards the beach. Upon arriving, it spun around, and started to head back into the jungle. Suddenly I hear it stop. I hear the engine rev twice. Then I see it’s rear end pop out slowly.
Suddenly, it barrels backwards out of the jungle and the driver hurls them all into the ocean. They all drown and the car sinks to the bottom of the sea.
I laughed.
EDIT: Also, I cannot begin to describe how awesome Vaas is.
Finished it, some things could have been better, but it was still pretty damn good.
Worst thing is probably that 5 second delay between opening doors, it usually happens in the safe house.
I wouldn’t be surprised if those were loading points. I know ME2 did that, it’s why those doors in Omega always took so long to open.
