Far Cry 3

Weren’t people praising the game just a few pages ago?

I was being sarcastic, just sayin’

What’s so lolable?

Call Of Duty is still in the market

Fuck yeah

True, but I’d hardly call that a disappointment. More like exactly what everyone thought it would be like.

You have to be an idiot to have high expectations for a CoD game.

It’s not about the game itself, but the fact that it still makes money(and a lot of it) is dissapointing, far more than Far Cry 3

In response to the queries regarding the Far Cry 3 Tweak Guide - I just finished it last night and submitted it to Nvidia. It’s a very large guide, and I think most people will be happy with it. Hopefully it can be up on GeForce.com by early next week. Now I have to turn my focus back to finishing the formatting for the TweakGuides Tweaking Companion for Windows 8, and have that out in the next few days also."

Fuck yeah, this is the guy to go to for tweaking

I am really happy I decided to ignore a few people and went out and got this game, it’s freakin amazing! With the exception when NPCs run right on me when I am stealth killing people…

So…I have 8 skill points to invest but nowhere to use them cause I need to progress story missions to unlock skills…WTF!?

Well, it’s clear what you need to do then, isn’t it?

So it isn’t even mildly strange to you that an open world game is forcing you to play through story missions so you can invest skill points you earned?I have played many open world games and non of which had this abysmal constraint.

It’s actually a good idea, IMO. Keeps players from just being able to completely ignore the main questline until they’re an overpowered, max-level god.

Yeah…I think that, that,WW III arsenal that you gain within the first couple of hours takes care of that.

So glad Ubi listened and are working on a patch that lets you remove all HUD elements. Now I can be fully immersed without having a box pop up every 5 seconds telling me what to do, and having flashing dead bodies light up the beach like it’s Christmas.

But it is Christmas.

It’s too bad they won’t patch in more healing animations. I don’t remember much from FC2 (don’t even remember why I hated it) but I certainly remember there were a ton more cool (and more gruesome) healing animations. I hate how I jump off a ledge, get bit by a shark, get bashed by a pirate, kicked by a cassowary, bitten by a komodo dragon, and nearly eaten by a tiger and 90% of the time it all gets healed by resetting my right thumb back into place. which may or may not have been dislocated in the first place.

I’ve got a dilemma, I want to replay the game and enjoy it’s open-world’edness, but I don’t want to listen to Jason’s whining and bitching, or sit through the lengthy unskippable cut scenes

Well, the first problem can be solved with a mute button, and the second with a good book.
