No info at E3 pretty much confirms the game is nowhere near completion or they keep it super-secret to keep the tension up.
The point is though it’s still a videogame and it has to be sold, some kind of marketing is needed so the majority of people (not the fans like us) know there’s a sequal coming.

I think we’ll see a much more vengfull alex in this installment. I dont think were end up going to the overworld its allot to expect in say 6hrs of game play, maybe at the end but we wont spend any time there. There bound to save that for the next episode/game.

You probably won’t wake up in rubble or in a wreck. But I can guarantee you it will start off by waking up. They wouldn’t start it off with you just standing in a room not knowing how you got there.
seems more likely that you will start with like 5 minutes of ep2 to see how it ended… then you’il continue seeminglessly

Episode 3 will probalby start right after EP2 with alyx mourning her dad… what else is there… you will proably wake up on the floor after DOG attacks the advisors and dog is comforting alyx while you wake up alyxs looks at you says something like “gordon, im glad your OK” she starts crying again then gets up agrily and says “Gordon, those combine bastards have killed my dad we must get the the borealus to stop them from teleporting”… then you get some time to free roam look for some spare ammo or a gun since like in the others you wont start with anything then fly off into the sky and …ect

I would be pretty happy getting a Resistance variant of the flechette launcher (White Forest Resistance could have been working on their own version after encountering Hunters or some such) the Hunter uses, or even one right out of a Hunter, Hivehand style.
The name will not be Half-Life 2 Episode Three, it will be Half-Life 2 : Revenge of Ivan the Space Biker.
I would love to see how Valve would portray the artic wasteland. I can only imagine more types of zombies and monsters! (Polar Bear Zombie LOL!)
