i think we should get a sniper rifle… i mean yes the Xbow is fun but it gets kinda aggrivating with it some times when you miss because the arrow drops or it takes to long to get to the target… i mena a SR with instant bullets and no drop… would prolly make the game 2 ez… but still with all the technology around id think that gordon would find a better one… or alyx woulda built one
I’d love for EP3 to have a stealth feel. Like, not necessarily have stealth gameplay elements, but more of a mood. So that it feels like you’re trying to stay under the radar. I think the Borealis would be perfect for that.
i think like a haunted feeling would be more fitting , like you’re always watched but the one that watches you feels sorry for you being there…
How about it’s just what everybody expects, but you load your crossbow with wacky arctic-themed things such as ice picks and ice-axes.
I don’t expect it to be as artic as just cold. Think Greenland.

Actually, the HL2 crossbow shoots heated metal, and that could be an excuse for a cool sizzling effect when it hits snow. Although I think that’s a bit much, it’d be cool.

that would be pretty cool to have the crossbow shoot long licicles or something and when you shoot someone you just see the ice dagger thing stickin out of it
yeh and if you shot around someone who is crying they evaporated their tears alot , of course the engine is gonna suffer modifications , but don’t think that far
i think it would be awesome if in EP3 you launch a final attack on the combine and its an all out war on earth and you have to push the combine forces back to thier planet and then cross over through a giant portal that was made from the borealus and fight them on the combine world, and its not like those battles in the city where you see maby 4 other people… although those fight scenes were awesome or like at the end of ep2 were there are a few more… im talking about the entire rebel army like 200 people just following Gordon and you have this all out war and take out the combine leaders and planet… and just as you get close… g-man puts gordon in a stasis and right after he does… the combine planet self-destructs and leaveing you… miliseconts from death… he also prolly saves alyx since she will be with you…

I think Gordon will use the Borealis to make a portal to the Combine Homeworld. Once he’s there he will use some form of Combine technology to make a barrier from our universe to the Combines permanently blocking them from Earth. Oh and Alyx will come too and in the end, G-man will put them both into stasis.
I believe one or the other will be put into stasis. Not both.
Gman has been known to only put his attention onto one primary person so I doubt he’d worry about the two lovebirds.
I’ve got a feeling that although the combine have secured the Borealis since Episode 1, they haven’t got the technology they need yet. After all, if you were them and the Citadel had been destroyed, wouldn’t you have started up the portals and got home as soon as possible? Maybe there’s a prototype version of GlaDOS or some kind of Aperture AI system that’s locked down the ship, kind of like a Space Odyssey type thing? It would be a nice touch to have not only the combine attacking you, but the ship as well. Not only this but the ship could be attacking the combine too, not trusting anyone. Either way, something significant happened when the Borealis vanished, and now that it’s back there’s definitely going to be something wrong with it.
I hope Alyx dies - she’s annoying.
I hope we see what happened to Barney and Odessa. Colonel Cubbage should be strolling around with a magnum, having a jolly old time. Barney should be speared through the face for being the star of the worst (Gearbox) Half-Life game ever.
