indeed
indeed
just a comparision:
detaillevel of a Vortigaunt in Half Life 2 Episode 2:
Detaillevel of a Vortigaunt in HL2 Episode 3, how it could be:
so you mean episode 3 could waste a whole lot of polygons?
Only Valve knows, but I think, that the Source Engine gonna be higher updated than in Episode 2
No shit
DX11
what about the people with crappy computers and no DX11 support ?
Behold the blight of the PC gamer.
oh no i meant no such thing , my point was that if they made it DX11 exclusive it would be unpractical ā¦
Valve has made a point of setting the lowest possible settings for games ridiculously low. Iām sure most of the people on these forums can, one way or another, play Episode 3 on their rig when it comes out.
Very likely, if you can play half-life 2, then you will be able to play some form of episode 3.
Just thoughtā¦ The only reason to wrap up hl2 series would be to make a new engine. With Valveās understanding of the neccesity for modding, the new engine will probably be the greatest most flexible engine in existance. Iām dying of anticipation.
No, the only reason to wrap up hl2 series would be to end the story arch. Good stories donāt just prattle on forever and accomplish nothing.
well, i think that gordon will be free, and gman will be firedā¦
then he swears vengance to freeman, and thats the begining of hl3. where gordon uses his POWERS FROM THE CRISTAL TO NOT GET OLD AND FLY!!! jk
^this man knows something we donāt
Half Life will endā¦ when Gordon gets his beer from Barneyā¦
But Barneyās going to die, does that mean the story goes on forever?
Following Freeman trying to get powers to bring Barney back to life to ask for beer?
:fffuuu:
:hmph:
Poor Barney. I hope weāll see him again.
His disappearance since Half-Life 2 makes me sad.
Who the hell said, that heās dead? He isnāt dead
@Coolm4n: He disappeared in Episode 1 with the train
but due to the prohibition law that the combine laid down and the lost recipe for beer, freeman and barney will go on a quest to find the last known recipe ā¦
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valveās Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
