OH Please! Valve made the best game of all time!! Half-Life 2 like it or not, it’s the best game of all time. And how could they disappoint you if you like their game? Every little thing they have done its great, their shortest game: Portal its the game with more awards of 2007 not mentioning the Game of the Year award. How in the heck can they disappoint you if you don’t really like their games?

We know that there was a casting call for Cave Johnson’s voice actor in 2008. From what little has been said by game informer, portal two takes place possibly centuries after the first game. Glados is the main antagonist. Maybe, possibly, this means we will encounter a digital CJ on the borealis? This speculation could be rendered moot with the next info release but still. That would add an interesting dimension to ep3. a glados type character with a different personality. This would not conflict with portal 1 or 2 and give the possibility of an ironic twist. the disembodied brain of the founder of ap-sci could enlist the aid of his former rival blackmesa(gordon, kliener, zombie eli) or aid the combine in killing them. We could get more back story on the black mesa rivalry.
There are still a lot of unexplained things from the BBS and Portal sound files, including some things said by Kleiner, Alyx and Barney, so there’s definitely some Episode 3 news afoot.
I don’t know if that was actually meant to be Kleiner etc. I listened to the sound file and couldn’t really hear anything. I think people are just programmed to find voices in things like that.

Maybe you will fly to the ship, crash then have to walk all the way there once you get there you will find out the combine are trying to wake up a dormant GLaDOs and use her to help rebuild the portal to reconnect Earth to the Combine world. you will blow it all up then in the explosion be transported to the Combine home world were you will reak havoc till you are caught, kill some big boss then as he dies Gman will stop time and either 1) explain everything ( from a marketing standpoint, highly unlikely) or 2) say a bunch of stuff that just reiterates what you have already heard but builds tension so they can sell more games
It should all be wrapped up to a close in EP3, in theory.
While there will be an HL3, VALVe (yes, thats how I spell it) has stated numerous times that the storyline there will be entirely different (I presume the way HL2 is different from HL1).
i was looking at the earlier time related posts and maybe it will have something to do with time, considering how many times Gman emphasized the word at the end of HL2
