Is it sad that a single coder can significantly improve both the look and performance of the source engine in a mere 2 weeks? Foliage looks better than Oblivion now.

Valve needs to give them a source engine license.

This guy also worked on Mirror’s Edge. When he works on an engine it ends up looking 10 times better than you thought it ever could. It’s amazing work.

Looks pretty good. Foliage could be a bit higher res but other then that It’s damn fine, especially for the source engine.

That’s funny because Mirror’s Edge’s levels had low res textures.

It still looked incredibly good though.

At the very least, if Valve doesn’t hire this guy, they should pay him for his souped up Source Engine.
