That makes me want to play it again, thx
oh the irony.
I have Mirror’s Edge on PC aswell, awesome graphics and gameplay
Yeah Mirror’s Edge was cool. And foilage.
Foilage?
Valve needs to hire him as creative director or something.
I lol’d at a Youtube comment:
That very well may be mine, sir. Although, I didn’t add a dash between “in” and “Crytek.”
Other than that, everything is exactly the same. :retard:
It had nice art direction, yes.
Gears of War had higher res textures on the 360, and it was THE UE3 launch game. Mirror’s Edge should have had textures at least as high res as the game that the engine was designed for, on the same system.
Except for the fact that Mirror’s Edge was set in generally larger environments than GoW, hence more textures to render.
Yeah, but how much of the city did you actually go to in the first level? Sure, the areas you travel through are a bit bigger than areas in GoW, but UE3 is great at streaming stuff off of a disc. LOD textures shouldn’t be a problem.
I am intrigued…sauce?
.
Wait for the x360 emulator, it will have the same graphics with better texture filtering and infinite resolution.
Or, yknow, get Gears on PC like I did
I played NFS hot pursuit 2 on PS2 (on PS2 emulator) and the graphics were better than the PC version.:meh:
I’d take comparison pics, but I got rid of Mirror’s Edge, and I don’t have the hardware to take screenshots from the 360. And I don’t feel like hunting down comparable pictures of someone staring at a wall etc.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
