No. Cevat Yerlis heart is beating for the pc and he has always defended it although there are piracy problems.
And consolegames get pirated too, like on the PC.
Yes, but less.
Before you start a level, set graphics to lowest. After the level is loaded, you can set the graphics to whatever you want again.
Someone with experience, eh?
Well, as long as you’re buying the game I don’t see anything wrong with it. I just wanted to try out a few console commands and the controls, haven’t actually played any levels, just the beginning of one where there’s no spoilers.
Thanks, that fixed it. But now, whenever a video thing pops in the screen, it freezes again
try the 64bit version
I haven’t had that problem at all though
I like the lens flare and the spark effects but I hate that damn cheesey ass blur effect they have. Any way to turn that off? It’s really distracting…
It takes a lot of shit out of C1 that made it orig—well… Interesting for it’s time, but also improved on a hell of a lot.

this leak is (going to be) a perfect excuse for EA or any other publisher to stop publishing pc games because it’s not “profitable” or “worried about intellectual rights”
doesn’t matter that the game will get sold in millions
Depends how well it sells, ultimately.
Nothing wrong with the controls.
Playing it now, nothing is missing at all, except the credits say placeholder where names should be.
I’ll still buy it. It’s not bad at all. It looks very pretty.
EDIT:
I really am liking the singleplayer experience. Hopefully that “entire separate development team” is as good as the one that made singleplayer. Miscommunication between the two could be catastrophic. I don’t want two puzzle pieces that don’t fit together right.
So did I understand this correctly: the main difference between this leaked version and what is expected in the final version is that this has more bugs, the graphics settings look like they’re on medium-high/DX9, and a few minor details are missing like the credits?
maybe it’s just on my PC but I get an annoying buzzing sound instead of some weapon firing sounds, when I drive forward in a car, and some ambient noises which is when it’s most annoying.
…
Yeah, it’s probably just your computer.
I’d download it, but I’m too lazy.
Or at least, I would be too lazy if my computer stood the slightest chance of running it.
:’(
Nah, I tried both and it didn’t work. Scaling down the res worked tho, altough the game looks a bit blurry at 800 x 600 on a 22 inches monitor.
I get this bug where when I go to pick up the first pistol in the game during the proceeding cinematic it freezes. I love the music in this game though.
Do they offer an explanation for what happened on the island after Crysis?
