I just got to play a little of the MP and it was freakin’ awesome. Some of the best graphics I have ever seen in a video game. I cannot wait to buy it

In Frankfurt. There was some kind of open day for PCGames guys on 12th january where you could ask questions and play stuff.

God they better do a better job with this one. The first was absolute garbage gameplay wise and was nothing more than a tech demo for graphic whores.

I played it at a press demo. It was invite only and they were only demoing the multi player. It was on a sex box but the graphics were off the proverbial hook. The detail was amazing. there was more vertical play than I have ever played in a game. the suit features were cool and the guns felt great. the water effects were the best I have ever seen
I really loved almost everything about Crysis and I suspect I’ll love the sequel. That’ll be all.
The game play was limited to elimination of enemy players and the capture and holding of a crash site. The suit assisted jumping and climbing is a major game mechanic. there is a level/experience component and a fair amount of customizable armor/weapons combo’s
Ew… That word should not be involved in any way with Crysis. Or FPS’s in general for that matter.
Anyway, the first Crysis was pretty good. The gameplay was great fun, before you get to the alien’s at least. It was the story line that was crappy. The graphics were obviously good, and the different styles you could play made it fun, but who the hell wrote that plot?
Superhuman Special Forces taking on Korean’s, and then Aliens just for the sake of it… Seriously?
Ah well, the game wasn’t meant to be played for it’s story anyway.

But anyway, I really hVe high expectations for this game, have you guys seen the real time lighting effects? Brilliant. The graphics are also phenomenal, I wonder how they crammed all those polys into the sex box? I can’t wait for the pc release :3
