I kno, I kno.
Hah, I used to be in the same situation.

Halo 3 not getting released is the third most disappointing thing in gaming for me. Second is consoles and first, by a several mile long margin, is the depressing lack of SWBFIII. I would pay 100 dollars, maybe even more, for that game if it ever came out.
Every single first-person shooter should be on PC!
To be honest I played CoD on playstation 3 and I began getting pretty annoyed about the thing about using control sticks to aim. It was almost impossible! I tried playing around with the sensitivity, but the concept was still pretty annoying.
Also: Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft could make a new console every (i don’t know) 3-5 years, while a good PC can hold probably up to 15 years if you are lucky/keep it maintained.
My conclusion (as many may have said before me) is that fps games should only be on PC!
about the FPS games - that´s true, they should by on PC…I played MoH European Assault on PS2 and it was troublesome…
but for the console …you don´t need to upgrade it
… You do know that just because YOU suck at fps on console doesn’t mean that it should be limited to PC. I’m all around great at any game using any controller whether it’s a kb/mouse or a controller/joystick, but seeing as I don’t want to be hunched over my desk, and i like the ease of accessibility, I also like the fact that me and my friends can share a controller or plug 2+ controllers into the same console. Also I don’t like smashing my face up against a monitor all the time.
Why is this thread still going on?
People play wherever they feel more comfortable on, wherever their favorite games are and whichever platform they consider has the best games within their personal tastes.
Arguing about this shit will lead you nowhere. Stop it.

It’s a proven fact that using a mouse and keyboard is far more effective.
I tried valiantly to change the topic
I can haz assume this = troll?
I can haz assume this = retard?
15 years?
Ok… say you bought a top of the line PC back in 1996 (15 years ago)… it wouldn’t even be a Pentium II
(They came out in 1997, according to this ). So, you’re saying that kind of PC would still be “holding” up today? Sure, it could still be in one piece, but good luck getting anything to run on Windows 95
I see your point, but 15 years… I don’t know. A 10-year-old PC can still be useable I guess.
I think he means with some upgrades, “keep it maintained”
Ok, it’s a troll. Just had to make sure.

Do you really deny that a mouse and keyboard offers more control than a controller? The only time I’ll use a controller is if I want to play a racing game.
Here’s what I show console fags whenever they deny this simple fact: Ps3 Mouse.
Look at the feedback. The majority of people say this “mouse” has improved their gaming by a lot and that they love. Then there’s a small minority that know what real KB+M gaming is like who think that the ps3 mouse, though better than a controller, just can’t compete with a real KB+M.
Also, just thinks about it man. It’s a simple concept. A controller has a huge magnification; tiny movement on controller=big movement on screen. Mice have a much smaller magnification; small movement on mousepad=small movement on screen. Something with a larger magnification will always be less accurate. Of course you can just lower the sensitivity on the console, but then you can’t turn fast enough. Even on default settings you can’t follow a sprinting enemy with the sniper scope in CoD.
And there you have it. I have just undeniably proved that KB+M is more accurate than a controller.
Lol, the contoller or a kb/mouse are only as good as their users. Selecting a select few of gamers for a test doesn’t make anything official. Including the factors that it’s gamers of different levels battling against each other. Not to mention most PC gamers are hardcore and most console gamers are casual. Doing the math Hardcore>Casual
Edit: I’m not a console fag, i’m on neither side, they are equal, i just don’t like it when fanboys say something PC is better than Console and vice-versa. Some people are better w/ kb/m and others are better w/ controller. End of story
imho, the best CoD (as an example) players on PC would trump the best CoD players on consoles, and it would be down to the control method only, not the players skill.
and fyi, I’ll play with controllers or kb+m, I’m not fussed
EDIT: Didn’t read the link in Fuckcox’s post
KB+M are better. Don’t lie. I knew you’d have a stupid reply like this, which is why I also provided the logic behind it. Look in my previous post or read this handy rewording:
Controllers have a higher magnification, or sensitivity as it’s usually called, because the range of movement is so much smaller. Something so much more sensitive just can’t have comparable accuracy. If you want more proof, why do you think sooooooo many console games are dripping with aim assist? Even console’s most loyal developers know the controller is shit when it comes to aiming.
Also, if you read Fuskox’s link, it said they pitted xbox PROS against average pc players.
And who do they consider console pros?
I know the physics and what not of a controller, seeing as this is mainly a PC gamer form I was prepared for multiple people to badger at my comments, you want to know why console gamers have aim assist? It’s due to the fact that consoles aim to make gaming fun and simple, it’s trying to catch a wide variety of consumers. It’s like comparing two types of apples, some people like one some like the other they give you the same nutrients and go to the same place and do the same things, One is sweet, the other is sour.
Some of you will no doubt say I am an idiot or, close minded, but I have looked at it from your point of view i like the accuracy of the kb/m but in the defense of your beloved kb/m you have tossed out the idea of the controller being better than a kb/m within the correct hands.
