Console combat

Allright, we have a fight here between PS3 and Xbox 360 …again …I know that most of you guys are more PC fans than console, but still…which of these consoles is better for you and why ?

for me it´s PS3 …I´m more familiar with it than with 360, although I´m a PC-fan …

PS3 is better hardware-wise.

No.

This is not Gamefaqs.

PC beats both

PS3 :3

I enjoy the 360. It allows me to play shitty, entertaining games without much hassle. You can play music during games without fucking up the way the games perform.

The PS3 doesn’t have many games that I enjoy, and I honestly haven’t had much experience with a PS3 to have a valid opinion of it.

As for the Wii, the only reason to own one is for speedy Netflix service, No More Heroes, and Metroid.

lol

They’re both aliased to shit.

Which one is supposed to be better?

Bottom one is higher-res, and has better lighting. I kinda wish they’d show some comparisons that mean something more though.

OH LOOK. It’s THIS image macro again.

OH LOOK. It’s THIS reaction post again.

…PS3 obviously, from the screenshots.

People on that site though have no idea what they’re talking about in the comments though.

PS3 because the games are more varied. But to be honest this generation is pretty dissapointing, they can’t get something right without getting something else horribly wrong.

The PS3 is a better designed system for the capabilities bestowed. It has great graphics and frame rate, but not many games or variety.

The X-box has many, MANY games, and fine graphics. I just played Crysis 2 on my 360 – it looked so amazing compared to what I was expecting.

The 360 has the Arcade; which is great if you want to play old games like doom, Street Fighter Classics, or Metal Slug.
It also has a lot of custom-ability, which is great for those who like a good change of scenery.
It also has cool music options and a lot of cool internet features.

Overall the 360 is much more pragmatic and well-assembled as far as fun and consistency go.

The PS3 is nice, but it just doesn’t have the options. It really depends on your taste; the reason I don’t use the PS3 is because my PC can handle any graphic implement plus the obvious advantages and options, like the internet and emulators. That plus my good old 360 are all I need.

Gotta love the PS3’s sexy black shine though – yum!

Y’all know that both consoles have only 512 mB of ram, right?
How the heck do they do that?

They display the image at a mediocre resolution, usually with no AA, and yet Halo screenshots are 1080p. Maybe there’s a Snoopy’s Doghouse effect

Depends on which games you want and whether you give two shits about blu-ray movies.

value-for-money, PS2 rules.

All consoles have their pros and cons. And some have exclusive titles so it depends on which titles you want. In the end, it doesn’t really matter too much how many gigaflops, how many anti-alias multipliers, or how many metatarsals there are; it depends on the games. You can have more fun with a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System than you could with the Playstation 3 or XBox 360. Really depends on what you’re looking for.
