It was ok, But i agree, not as good as i thought it could have been, i like the style and the visuals, specially some of the tie ins (like on the map in the safe room they have “opossing forces” on it, i did lol), but i dont think they got what the resistance was.

Personally, I really did not like the short. Not even as a general sci-fi flick (since it didn’t really fit in the half-life universe we all know and love), mostly because of the dark-ish color of the whole clip and generally unrealistic scenes. For a fan-made project I guess it was alright, but I didn’t find it enjoyable at all.
Now, their lightsaber battle video I found REALLY fun to watch.

Well, there is a higher possibility, that the BBM team gets job offers from Hollywood or others, because of their (in my mind) impressive video (like Purchase Brothers), than you, with a video to fool other people. Since both videos aren’t supposed to be commercial.

for that small budget the film is great! i like the style of it. if you don’t like it, make a better movie for 1200 $ and then we will see…
