I think they said they got caught up in making some sort of feature-length film and the second episode would be delayed until further notice. That I’m the Freeman thing was also pretty cool but it was just one guy’s tech demo, nothing on a full-length/improved version was ever stated AFAIK
Maybe a little bit more thought with casting should have been considered. Other than that, the filming style looks really good for an independent sci-fi film.
And I highly doubt that these guys would have had the budget for an hour long film…
It isn’t too bad but there’s a bit where a guy gets out a hologram thing which is like wut. He’s a rebel that magically has a black mesa hologram thing which even Black Mesa didn’t have. But meh
haha, I saw that in the trailer.
This short film is just a way for these guys to put something in their portfolio is what it really comes down to IMO. And the Special Effects guys look like they did a good job with the holographic watch or whatever that guy is wearing. You can blame the writers for that nonsense. Hopefully the rest of the short film is written better.
I just don’t want to be too judgmental until I see the full 12 minutes of it really. Then, after that it is fair game!

Moreover, they needed only 1200 $ to make it. Looks impressive, with this little amount of money. And it’s gonna be released for free, so I can’t complain, that it’s only 12 minutes long.
