Best Game Soundtracks of All Time

Your best game soundtracks of all time were all created in the last 3 years? That makes me feel a little sad.

I have to say, for me my favourite soundtrack was probably that of Flashback. But there are so many great Amiga games I could list with cracking soundtracks.

It might just be nostalgia on my part, but Oblivion had some fantastic ambient music.

Edit: <3

r–really?

Anyway, Ecco: Defender of the Future has a pretty fucking amazing soundtrack.

YOU HAVE BEEN KICKED BY PUNKBUSTER FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON

oh goid

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Neverwinter Nights

The Halo Series

Has had some good ones
Freedom Fighters

C&C: Red Alert

Emperor: Battle for Dune

Been playing the Assassin’s Creed series recently. ACII has the best music I think.

My favorite.

I’m not a huge fan of the UT OSTs after UT99, I always felt they were kinda generic for the most part, but there are some I really like.

UT2004 - Chemical Burn

UT2003 - Theme

Still, the 03 or 04 theme isn’t close to the 99 theme, but I actually prefer the 03 theme vastly to the 04 remix of the 99 theme.

One of my favorites from ACII.

God damn, just found this song. After 5:40 it really gets great.

RTNP is pretty good. I particularly loved the CAR.
