My point was that no-one was focusing on Islam in particular. In fact, I complained about the Dawkins video saying that he was talking about Islam as if it were the only religion responsible for atrocities.

and regarding the so Called Muslims terrorists:
It could actually be argued that the “Muslim terrorists” you hear about aren’t actually Muslim at all, since Islam completely forbids violence against anyone- even non-Muslims- with the sole exception of directly defending yourself or someone else against an attacker.
Stuff CNN likes to say:
“They are spreading Islam by the sword.”
When it is said that Muslims are to “spread Islam by the sword,” the real meaning is to spread Islam by the TONGUE. (words.) “Sword” is commonly used in the Qu’ran in reference to speaking.
“They are waging Jihad- holy war.”
The word “Jihad”, which is heard all the time on the news, does NOT actually mean “holy war,” it means a struggle or obstacle to overcome, done in a manner that follows the rules of Islam or in general is a good thing.
For example, if I manage to make it through University and get a Master’s degree with the intention of getting a job as a counselor and helping others, that is my Jihad. Blowing up Westerners just because they are doing things you think is wrong is against the Qu’ran and therefore NOT Jihad, whether you say “Allahu Akbar” while doing it or not.
Unfortunately, the terrorists you see are completely twisting Islam into something it isn’t. I guess it’s subjective, but with my knowledge of Islam…? I don’t personally believe that ANY terrorist is Muslim, because if they’re really Muslim, they’d never hurt someone. Ditto for “Christian terrorists.” If you’re really following Christianity, you wouldn’t be hurting anyone. You can call yourself something, it doesn’t mean you are.
Though I don’t have time to watch the video right now, this was honestly a fantastic post which I found very interesting. Although we have discussed this particular issue before, I didn’t know exactly how they were against the Qu’ran (y’know, apart from killing people).

1- the draw Muhammed Day is a complete childish uncivilized way of mocking other peoples believes and to aggrivate their feelings. so I hate it and I can openly protest about it, there’s nothing I can do to these people because no matter what I say or do, they’ll never change, they’re just Trolls, you feed them you make them grow bigger.
2-well that’s actually a sensitive matter, see when a person get really mad he’ll never be able to control his actions, and they start sending death letters thinking that it will benefit them, but it’s wrong and like I said, you feed the troll you help him get bigger and bigger, there are always better ways to fight these people other than threatening them.

Are you angry at the people behind Draw Muhammad Day because they’re trying to aggravate people, or are you angry at them because they’re drawing Muhammad?
If he says he is angry because they draw Mohammed, what will you do? Point your finger at him and say: “Ah-Hah! You, Sir, are a fundamentalist pig!” ?
Either you treat all religions in this world with respect, or none of them. If you want to mock people for their religious beliefs, how about starting with your own religious people, in your own culture? Their beliefs are as dumb and shitty as anybody else’s.

They don’t really do it for mocking. They do it for people like Theo van Gogh, and the people from Denmark. They show that they have courage, and aren’t scared by death threats. And I say death threats because the orginal people who started Draw Muhammed day got threatent with death. Not that all Muslims are like that, but I’ll be damned if there aren’t a whole lot of them that are.
