Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo…
Your evidence is that it’s in the Qur’an?
No need. I know where you’re coming from. The evidence that the Qur’an is God’s word is that the Qur’an says so?

I can’t post how the qur’an is the word of God, because it’s too long to post. I linked you to videos and a website to answer your questions in that particular subject.
I’m not up for debating, just informing if you are interested. I presumed everyone in this thread was interested in learning more about Islam, especially those who asked questions, so I linked you to your answers.
That website and video hold as much valid points as me saying that it isn’t. There’s no proof, no evidence, just interpretations.
Look at this, for example:
Surely, the interpretations of the Qu’ran by the Taliban and Al’qaeda qualify as corruption?
I’m glad you took the time to read and listen to them both. It took me several hours to do so.
A 10 minute video and a page with an answer to a question took you several hours?
I thought it was obvious that the video was in parts.
Didn’t think I’d have to break it down. But, yeah, there’s about 20 parts to it. It’s in the title of the video. That and the fact that the 1st video only introduced the subject and speaker should’ve hit the nail.
I doubt the 22 other movies will have factual proof that the Qu’ran is the final word of God.
Muslims saying the Qu’ran is the final word of God is as true as Christians saying the Bible is the word of God is as true as a vegan saying that vegetables are enough to live a healthy life. All three of these are interpretations and theories, and all three of them lack any factual proof or have been actually disproven by science and study.
Do you have another question that needs answering?
Many, but yet again I fail to see how any of you can answer them, so no, I’m fine.
“Religious people, dancing around the subject since the dawn of mankind.”
Okay, can you tell me, then, how the Qur’an is the word of God but the Harry Potter books aren’t evidence of magic?
Are you seriously comparing a holy scripture which billions of people follow, to a childrens novel? Wow, just wow.
Daniel are you on drugs right now ?
Yes. No. It’s just how I see the argument: Qur’an is evidence of God and Harry Potter is evidence of magic. Simply because one is considered “holy scripture which billions of people follow” and the other is considered “children’s novel” really is irrelevant to me.
Please tell me how I’m wrong instead of insulting me. Please tell me how the Qur’an is different from Harry Potter.
I agree with Daniel. Just because the Qur’an has alot more followers doesn’t make it any more of a truth. The only difference being that Harry Potter supporters know it is fiction.
This is what I was talking about in the another thread. Someone, who beliefs in a story that is said to be fictitious by the author, is mad. Someone, who beliefs in a story that is said to be true but without given any further evidence, is just naive. How can you even compare Harry Potter books to Qur’an or Bible?
What is the point of this discussion anyway? If you are thinking that you can convince a true believer that he/she is wrong then you are naive as well.
What’s shocking about that?
We don’t know the intentions of the author(s) of the Qur’an, to be bluntly honest. Perhaps the author(s) intended the Qur’an to be fictitious but with an excellent message (such as with Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings…hell, even Star Wars). Perhaps the author(s) didn’t intend for you to take the Qur’an as literal but, instead, parable.
I’m doing nothing of the sort. I’m trying to learn and I’m getting flak. My intentions are nothing but honorable. I want to know how you know that the Qur’an is different from Harry Potter. I don’t see any difference.
Star Wars tells you to not give into the evil or it will consume you. This is an excellent message and has nothing to do with lightsabers or midichlorians or whether Han Solo shot first.
How is the Qur’an different from these other stories?
Star Wars was set a long long time ago, the Qur’an recalls events from a few thousand years ago.
maybe you’re not doing it on purpose but you’re being sarcastic nontheles, now when I see religious debates or questions I don’t think a smart person would refrence harry potter or Gollum etc…) in his statements, why not ask about “Real events” that happens in reality and what does the quran says about it, now tell me how did this “writer” you mentioned knew about how the embryo evolves from point A to point Z 1400 years ago ? did he imagine that ?, and it was proven that Quran does prove 100% how the embryo evolves inside the womb, so tell me how did “He Imagine” that 1400 years ago when there were no machines and advanced computers ?
The same way all people did it before machines and computers: cut people open.
