Ask A Bodybuilder

Ideally, you want to isolate and rest the muscle group you worked on. Not using that group at all will speed up recovery tenfold.

Most people use their legs more than their arms. Therefore, recovery time is lengthened because of muscle use. If you want to speed recovery, stay off your feet for a day or two.

or walk on your hands

Look at that MANLY! Check out those abs

in my work i got a lotta heavy things to lift and private i do my training with lift weights - it’s not very much for the rest of my body. on the other side i drive very much miles a week with my mountain bike since i’ve stopped with breakdancing - on and off road. also i got a lotta movement @ work and private. do you think this all can be enough to still train the whole body muscles and make 'em a bit stronger and not only the arms, the neck, the back and the torso?

What’s he doing up there?

DUKE NUKEM FACE ALERT.
Really, mothafucka, how do you pull it off on stage when commonly you have so goddamn youthful face?

Exactly!

What’s the best thing to eat to lose belly fat? I’m not fat but I would like to lost some weight. I’m working out and doing a lot of abdominal exercises but what should I eat?

nothing bscly

EAT?! :expressionless:
Do cardio.

You want to eat…to lose weight…

Sorry, bud, but simple logic says when you put something into the body, it adds to the mass. I guess you could chew on celery as your only meal forever, but then you’d die in a week from the lack of fat, protein, or anything.

Do some running or walking.

Actually, eating multiple small meals raises your metabolism. Reducing what you eat actually puts your body into “starvation” mode and lowers your metabolism.

So I’m at the point where I look 7 months pregnant when I let my stomach flop out. I plan to do a lot of cardio once this exam period is over.

But you still need to eat to fuel the exercise that you are going to do. Eating isn’t the problem in and of itself. Eating poorly is.

You are a retard and should not be giving advice in this thread simply because of that statement.

Listen to this.

Compound excercises are the best to get you in shape. It does not matter whether you are under- or overweight. Just stick to the core lifts until you are satisfied.

More muscles you target, faster the metabolism. However, that also means that you have to eat to refuel your body. But the goal is to eat more frequently - it boosts your metabolism too.

Hell, most people will gain a few pounds as they build the muscle needed to burn the fat off, panic that exercise isn’t working, and then go back to eating shit and being lazy, lose the muscle they just gained, and then think they did something productive.

Morons…

hey bro

I can’t see what I said wrong. He doesn’t want to get big, he just wants to lose weight. Simple diet won’t accomplish this, so he should do cardio as well.

Oh god, Winged and Kaze are arguing. This isn’t going to end well.

Eating right (something I don’t do :frowning: ) along with exercise is the biggest key to losing weight. Getting big is something else entirely.

Exactly.

Though it’s a bit off topic considering this is the bodybuilder thread.
