Ask A Bodybuilder

Everyone else is finding a reason to make one of these threads so I might as well too.

Hit me.

Do you have a god?

Do you consume all your muscle-building protein in the form of jism?

Agnostic, so not necessarily.

Most, but not all.

I’m afraid to hit you :<

Bur for real: how much time (in a week) do you spend in the gym? And how much do you eat?

On my current 5 day split, each lifting day takes anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half or so, so anywhere from 5 to 7 hours usually.

And as a rule I usually consume at least 4,000 calories a day while bulking, if not more.

Holy poop, that’s a lot. On both grounds.

are yer veins all grose

how much steroids

Any advice for a quick weight cut, that can be re-added within a short period?
Looking to go from 183lbs down to 170lbs in a short time, then back up to at least 180lbs very quickly. In a way that will leave me fully capable after the whole process. I’ve never had to cut significant weight before, so aside from hanging out in a sauna for an hour, do you have suggestions? I hear bodybuilders are masterful at cutting weight.

Is there any particular reason you’re cutting weight?

Gotta get to 170 for weigh ins. I can easily do it gradually, but I’m worried that it would mean cutting muscle weight. I was kinda hoping to do a quick cut and recover to be as big right after as possible. I’d only have about 24 hours after weigh in to get back lost weight. Keep in mind, I don’t have a lot in the way of body fat to begin with. Is it possible?

Well, you could always get a muscliposuction the day before, and then just have your muscles reinjected immediately after.

What do you think about creatine? And supplements of protein?

Creatine and protein supplements are to raw iron shavings what Koolaid is to fresh spring water.

Making kids fatter and overexcited?

Are you a virgin

Doing a quick cut is going to catabolize more muscle than slowly cutting weight will, and you aren’t going to gain anything back in 24 hours aside from fat and water weight.

Creatine works for some people, doesn’t for others. A lot of people take it and expect miracles like it’s some sort of androgenic steroid. If you do use it, you have to drink a lot of water for it to even be slightly effective, and some people cycle it to make it more effective. Bottom line is it can help slightly, but it isn’t necessary and it will not make or break you.

Protein is something you need in general, supplements such as whey and casein protein help you get in your necessary protein each day, as well as providing other benefits such as being loaded with BCAAs. I could spend years talking about every different kind of protein supplement, like how whey is fast digesting and best for postworkout, while casein is slow digesting and best before bed, and all of that. Really, supplements are not necessary for anything, but if you’re going to take a supplement, make it a multivitamin, fish oil, and whey protein. Everything else is either a hit or miss on effectiveness from person to person.

Anally? Yes.

are they like raisins at this point or what

When you go into public, do people stare in astonishment? Have you ever made another man weep just by coming into his field of vision?
