The game will be released on October 7th for PC,Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 .
I’m as cautiously optimistic as ever, but you never know with demos like these… especially when you take into account the typical skill levels of the folks that play em.

sometimes i wonder if theres a trend-in-the-making where people wish to restore OLD trends of the time period containing the great generation (ie. 40’s - 80’s)
What it probably is is that people are starting to realize that nostalgia is a powerful positive feeling, and so it sells well. Look at the new super mario bros game on the wii. It’s exactly the same game as super mario bros, only with a new coat of paint, and it is 100% awesome just the way it is.
Now if someone could find something sharp enough and with enough velocity to get through the thick skulls at Epic games, they might realize that they could probably come back with a very successful Unreal Tournament if they just made a game with all the old aesthetic, and just tried fleshing out the story and character depth/customization for a change.

I have to say that I’m fairly excite for this game.
Looks like it could be good - nice graphics (+attention to detail) and sounds, good scares (hopefully watching this won’t spoil too much for when the game is released - though if the xenomorph is as unpredictable as some of the earlier videos have shown perhaps it won’t matter).
Field of view seems a bit low. Hope the gameplay isn’t extremely linear.
Field of view is low because they’re showing the console version.
Yeah, I was just worried they might be going for a “restrict the player’s vision to make it scarier” approach (when really it could just make the game uncomfortable to play, for the wrong reasons).
I’m quite sure the PC version will have a fov slider.
