Did you wake up one day and said to yourself: “I’m going to be the white knight of all idiots on the internet!”?
Because that’s what you seem to be trying to be.

EDIT: lol, hivemind
Says the biggest and the oldest troll on BMS forums, LOL, what a comedy
I think that you have confused “comedy” for “not comedy.” There is nothing ironic or remotely entertaining about a forum troll accusing an idiot of being a white knight.
Also, “oldest?” Oh, wait; “Join Date: 6th January, 2010.”
Shepard, you’re really taking this joke of a group seriously aren’t you?
Also, it’s no coincidence that all the serious business Joes of this forum hate me. I always call them out on their bullshit.
The 40000 members and growing thingy speaks for it self, people really want to hear something about their favorite franchise. No matter how much you hate, nor how much you try to prove it’s bullshit or whatever you call it, you can’t just deny desire of 40k peoples, you change nothing. Of course, you have full freedom for criticism, but nobody gives a shit(well, except me atm)
Yeah, I noticed that.
I want Valve to say something about HL3 too but only when they feel they’re ready to do it, not when thousands of people tell them to do it.
I just read through this entire thread. I don’t EVER want to play HL2 AGAIN (I say this with my bottom lip quivering). :’(
Maxey, you’re one of the most respected and liked members of this community and entitled to an option. They’re just jealous.
I’m starting to think you’ve been hitting on me all this time, freundin.
I’m probably wrong tho but it doesn’t hurt to check.
But thanks, regardless!
You know I could make a group for demanding information for the next Treyarch CoD, or for a Psychonauts 2, or GTA 5, and I’m pretty sure I could have those numbers and tons more within a week.
It still wouldn’t change the fact I don’t deserve anything from these people, and I’d still be a self entitled prick for thinking so, who would incidentaly need to find something to look forward too in life more meaningful than a video game.
Funnily enough I think that’s exactly what Valve will do.
So who is going to be playing HL2 on Feb 4th?
THIS JUST IN: IN EPISODE THREE YOU START WITH ALL OF YOUR WEAPONS
Especially if they think that they have to answer to a cult of kids getting butthurt over a fucking game.
I’m not clear on your point…does Valve have to shit twice?
Valve made promises. There’s an interview on YouTube somewhere just before the release of Ep2, where Gabe specfically states that Ep3 will be their main focus once Ep2 is released and that they’ll get it out rapidly. They said outright there’d be a 3-episode series that would be wrapped up years ago. They didn’t deliver and now they’re silent about it. I don’t think anyone would accuse them of lying, per se, as it likely was their intention at the time, but they didn’t deliver on promises. People have the right to be upset when promises aren’t met. Clearly this was a lesson to Valve (as the BM devs have learnt too) that making promises is generally a bad idea, which is no doubt why Valve has been silent on the matter since. In any case, those broken promises are still the last major comment Valve has made about the HL franchise, so people have been left with a sour taste. Honestly, I think that’s fair. I don’t think it’s right to demand the game and feel entitled to have it, but an explanation as to why promises weren’t kept would be respectful. They don’t even have to apologise necessarily. This is the information CFC want.
I personally support CFC. I don’t think it’ll be successful at all, however, as, at the end of the day, Valve have all the power. I’ve personally learned to be content with no HL news, but I empathise with those who feel frustrated.
Are you 12?
Yes.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
