Zune or i pod

^qft

I still use my 30gb iPod Video, but I sync using Winamp.

I’ve not tried a Zune though, so I won’t vote.
.

Nobody cares.

The deciding factor is simply how much you get for your money.

It’s old as hell
I still got it on my 30gb ipod Classic

My 120GB iPoo is 99.7% full at the moment.

Jeez don’t tell me there is only music.
I have 5 days of 320 kbps and only 20gb are used

Yeah. I can’t stand watching videos on that small screen.

I have ~210GB total on my external hard drive and I do in fact listen to most of it.

And I thought I was a music whore…

In before jambo comes in waving his big e-penis around about how he has over 9000 terabytes of music and doesn’t actually listen to it all because it’s physically imfuckingpossible.

over NINE THOUSAND!!!
Well, if he uses flac - NOT unexpected

Once you go flac, you never go back.

well, cannot hear much difference between 320 kbps and flac in my bose headphones.
Well, with Bose lifestyle 48, things could change.

I listen to music pretty much all the time I’m awake, and I would’ve listened to at least 90% of the bootlegs I’ve downloaded. As soon as the download would finish or a new package would arrive I would whack it on my PC or in my CD player. There are certainly shows that I have only listened to once or twice, but there are a lot that I have listened to many, many times. Every day at work I have music on the whole time I am in my office, so that’s 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and then as soon as I get home it goes on on my PC. In the past year and a half I have listened to around to almost 27,000 songs on last.fm and that doesn’t count plays on my CD players, PS3, 360, iPhone before I got scrobbling software, etc. So my actual song count would be waaayyy higher. I am addicted to music.

Hehe, Bose headphones. Cute.

With good headphones and an amp/DAC you will certainly notice the difference, especially when it comes to bootlegs.

And I actually only use flac, shn and ape with my bootleg collection, as A) you’re not supposed to convert to lossy format, community rule, and B) it would be way too hard to have flac and mp3 of all the music I swap around on my iPhone. If I want to really listen to the music I’ll get the CD out and jack in to the Marantz amp downstairs.

Funny how no matter how fast iTunes gets on any system, it will never hold a candle to Foobar2000.

Cool story, bro.

Actually the other guys are the Nazi’s

Well played, well played.

Hehe.

Also with your editing of my quote, I’m actually not like that any more. If you read through the posts I just made, you’ll see that I only ever talked about what file types and set ups I prefer, I never said everyone else should use them. A couple years back when I was running a bootleg torrent tracker and massively in to trading I did tend to try and push the idea of using flac on to other people but nowadays I don’t give a damn what other people use or listen to. It doesn’t affect me.

Same as Apple vs PC and Chrome vs IE8 vs FF vs Opera arguments. Do what you want.

I see.

And editing quotes? What? :retard:

Lawl @ Kaze
Wait, am I missing something? Does IPhone support FLAC?

I have a 60-gig Zune HDD second-gen, and it’s pretty sweet. I’ve used iPods before, though, and I have to say that if Apple did one thing right, it’s the iPod. The touch wheel on that thing is basically unrivaled; if there’s one thing I can’t stand about my Zune, it’s the touchpad.

@this thread:

Also it’s alot more stylish IMO, everyone has an ipod, if not they have a zune, but the archos looks alot better, almost professional.

And the 800x480 screen pwns apple’s 480x320.
