Zune or i pod

Like the title says.

As for me, Zune ftw.

I have a pink, 2 GB IRiver E100 with a 4 GB external memory card.

I’m such a rebel.

I’ve got an iPod Touch and it rocks, except this fucking iTunes.
I have only one Problem with my iPod, I can’t get more than ~130 apps on it, because the Mainscreen has only 9 pages :meh:

Apple sux, iTunes is shitty and restricting, ancrypeted media is shitty

@OP
Wait what? Another holywar?
Voted for iPod because I don’t have Zune. Maybe yet.
And iTunes is great if you want to have a perfectly sorted out library. And that’s exactly what I want.
To say more, I got itunes when I was finally fed up with WMP 11 which could not play some of the mp3s, before I got my iPod classic - so I was perfectly used to it.
Right now, it’s hard to move on something else

I just want to see how popular Zunes are on the forum.

My biggest reason for supporting zune over i pod is the d-pad compared to i pod’s ring. I find the ring to be extremely irritating.

Whichever one has the most space.

It depends which one you want to get. If you want to get an ipod touch or iphone, I’d go for that, but if you want a nano or classic, I’d probably stick with a zune.

iPod Vs Zune.

Conformist Vs Non-conformist bscly.

they do the same thing.

Agreed, though there is a chance that will change after the Zune hd comes out, but probably not, because Zune HD has a smaller screen.

Zune has a bigger screen and better interface, but otherwise, bscly.

Fix’d

I have an iPhone so went with iPod.

Although the Zune HD looks damn sexy.

You can’t really judge the iPod by the iTunes software.

That’s like saying yeah, my Lamborghini is nice but the Shell unleaded gasoline I put in it sucks, so the car sucks.

Love my ipod, fucking loath itunes.

Indeed, the iTunes software has become incredibly bloated, slow and hard to use. I wish there was a stable plug-in to allow me to update my songs via Foobar2000.

I have a Creative Zen 8GB, with an 8GB SD Card that I use for videos.

Am I the only one who needs at least a hundred gb just for music on my music player?

I would need a 600GB player that supported flac, shn and ogg. I just cycle my music every week or so. And I only really use my iPhone for music walking to and from work. The rest of the time I just use my PC or the PS3 downstairs via wireless sharing.

Why flac? Even with bose headphones, 320 kbps mp3 is all that you need. Well unless you take two Marshall amps with you on a carriage…

Funny how on Mac OS X it gets faster with every new release, while on Windows, Apple just wouldn’t give a shit))

When you have 5 days of music and couple of hundreds of playlists in your library, d-pad becomes a nightmare.

I have no problems with iTunes both on my PC and Mac. It runs fine either way. If you want it to run “smoother” put it in list view with no Album Art showing…

I’m happy with my iPod. I’ve used several different players. I love the Click Wheel, it makes navigating music so much faster. And the new iPods show you what letter your at when your scrolling fast which is nice imo.
