Same here. San Andreas wasn’t very fun when you played it properly. Action Replay FTW!
Yes it looked good for PS2, but not for PC, that is what I’m saying.
And yet the PC version was superior to the PS2 version in almost every way.
Higher frame rates, less slowdowns, bigger resolution, more highres textures, more shaders, better shadows, etc.
L4D2. Less fun and no more dark atmosphere.
You are so wrong it makes me sad.
Oh, whew! For a second there I thought we were going to actually agree on something! Wouldn’t that suck?
No game deserves a 10. Most sites like IGN and Gamespot give out high scores too easy. They should be alot stricter. What if something better than GTA IV comes out, do they rate it 11/10?
That’s why I like G4’s 5 Star system. They give out so many fives that it’s not as big of a deal than it is if a game gets a 10.
Edit: Actually, in the end, it’s just a number. Read the reviews if you want something more accurate.
I prefer metacritic.
Yeah. When I search for reviews, I look at Metacritic, and usually read both the highest and lowest reviews.
I agree that the score itself is not really important. The review is the main thing. A game may get 6/10, but the person reading the review might not care about the flaws causing the game to get a 6.
BioShock 2 Multiplayer
Half-life 2 episode 1
Starcraft 2
Knights of the Old Republic 2
Halo 3
-
HALO - It’s everywhere. What’s so special about some guy in a motorbike suit shooting aliens?
-
CoD - Brilliant game and all, but it’s way too overrated and overplayed.
-
Counter Strike - I’ll probably be gang raped for this, but it’s just taken too seriously and it isn’t balanced or fair.
-
GTA: San Andreas - I try not to diss Grand Theft Auto as it’s one of my favourites, but San Andreas is way too overrated. Vice City was way better in terms of gameplay and fun. Actually I’m gonna get it on Torrent, BRB.
-
Runescape - Whoever plays this needs slapped. It consumes lives and takes your money. People actually marry each other in this game.
That isn’t overrated at all, loads of people didn’t like it.
fix’d.
Don’t worry, you won’t get flamed. Hating CS became cool after TF2 came out.
I will only love CS though, no TF2 for me.
Not enough exploits?
Something like that. I never really thought CS had much appeal. I played it a few times and was okay at it, but it got boring too fast for me.
Nigga you’d best be trollin’.
Damn it, I was going to say something like that but I didn’t want to make myself look like more of a Halo fanboy than I already am.
You win this round, Acristoff…
Uh, yeah. Ignore hype and play good games… Sure.
