Your Top FIve Over-rated games

  1. Halo - No, it’s not bad. But it’s not great either
  2. Resistance: Fall of Man - This one is freshly added after a few hours of stale gameplay.
  3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - The only game in the series I would say is overhyped.
  4. Final Fantasy VII
  5. World of Warcraft - Any game that makes you pay per month of play is just ridiculous.

I would like to add that I think Call of Duty: World at War is entirely underrated. It’s honestly my favorite COD to date.

Thanks, asshole. :expressionless:

Who reopened my flame thread of fun? Oh well, this should once again be entertaining. I feel like people should once again not that “overrated"≠"bad”. But on the other hand, its funnier if you do forget that. Flame on!

I’m sure we can all agree that some very popular games are bad, regardless of them being overrated.

As with any product the actually quality is very little of what makes it sell.

Edit: This actually part of why i love Valve, they tend to disregard this fact and try other new things (which arn’t really new things but have been long forgotten because the days of not fucking someone over for a nickle are dead).

Cough Fallout 3 Cough

Yes, I forgot FFVII. One of the few games that I’ve ever played that had graphics that I couldn’t stand. Plus I’m too lazy to switch between 4 discs while playing :retard: .

  1. Final Fantasy
  2. every JRPG
  3. Crysis
  4. Modern Warfare
  5. any MMO

JRPG’s aren’t overrated, its just that you play one and then you’ve played them all.

MMO’s aren’t overrated, they’re just swirling black holes that suck away your time and money. Some people are ok with this.

/joke

  1. Every Halo game after the first one (Reach actually looks to be half decent though)
  2. Doom3
  3. pick any Gran Turismo game
  4. Gears of War (fun game… but hyped to heaven and back)
  5. FABLE

i’ve enjoyed most of these games (well… Halo2 and 3 were a test of my patience)
but over-hyped and over-rated

Blak Meas GUIZE!!

Agreed, best WW2 shooter in a while.

  1. Any GTA after GTA2 (also known as "how to make shitty games that are controversial)
  2. Halo franchise (I remember playing the first one and seeing the same room over and over and over and over again)
  3. Final Fantasy (or anything anime-manga-Japanese for that matter)
  4. WoW (I played it for a long time and I liked it a lot, but I don’t understand how it became so popular, because the only way to enjoy it, is to be an active raider)
  5. Starcraft (granted, I just suck at RTS, but aside from that, I found SC pretty boring, even when winning)

Well the only logical explanation for 5 is that you’re not Korean.

So anyone who likes StarCraft is Korean?

Yes. :stuck_out_tongue:

Or mentally retarded.

But they’re basically the same.

  1. Halo 2: Halo CE was great, but this game was disappointing.
  2. Halo 3: Better than halo 2, but still overrated.
    3. Super Mario Sunshine: This game bored me.
  3. Final Fantasy 7: Greatest game of all time my ass.
  4. The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time: Didn’t get into it and got bored really fast.
  5. Halo 3 ODST: 60 dollar expansion and nothing more.
  6. God Of War Chains Of Olympus: That game was short, dull and kinda boring, all you had to do was just mash the buttons until you beat the game, it got old after awhile.
  7. Left 4 Dead 1: That game got old really fast, however Left 4 Dead 2 kicks ass.
  8. Modern Warfare 2: Average story, shitty camp infested multiplayer, nuff said.
  9. Forza 2: I fall asleep when i play that game (However Forza 3 kicks ass).
