That would be absolutely amazing. I think it is definitely doable. The environments of the previous games actually weren’t that huge when it comes down to it. I don’t think they’d be able to keep the same level of detail in each but if they balance it properly, it could be done.
One way or the other, I can’t wait for news of the next in the series
Bigger=/=Better
You weren’t even around 15 years ago, I would guess.
So wasn’t I, but I also know what gaming was back then.
Actually I might have been gaming at that time, I was at least 4 years old…
So wasn’t I? Interesting statement you’ve got there.
Zelda Series
Call of Duty MW2
Halo 2/3
Final Fantasy series
STALKER series
So haven’t you don’t have had.
I think every new game is overrated, mostly because they’re all just sequels to already overrated games.
the entire halo series
half life 2
unreal tournament 3
left 4 dead
bioshock 2
anything from a Ukrainian developer is, like, not allowed on this list
Crysis.
I guess I’ll chime in:
- Jill of the Jungle - if you ever played the shareware version, it constantly overhyped itself.
- Viewtiful Joe - I don’t get why this game was called awesome.
- Crysis - All this game did was make my computer bleed.
- Everquest II - I wish I had the money I spent on this game back.
- Darwinia - It was a little fun but got maddening at the end.
Stalker series by far. I have never liked a game less than stalker. And I’ve played Tomb Raider Underworld. You have to use a health kit every ten seconds in stalker. And the stupid health bar is tiny. You can’t pay attention to the fighting because every 10 seconds you have to look down and make sure you aren’t about to die. Then there’s the fact that the navigation system is retarded. The radar is hard to understand and doesn’t give a whole lot of information. Then there’s how boring and repetitive the environment is, the boring combat, and the boring lack of combat.
Use the Yahtzee method: Assign the quicksave key to one of the side buttons on your mouse, assuming your mouse has one.
You not being able to run it properly != overrated
He probably meant that the only noteworthy thing about the game was the graphics. Other than that, it’s forgettable, and it will be forgotten once the new “omg grafx” game comes out.
Just look at a real classic like (for lack of an example that will be 100% agreed upon) Half-Life. The game’s graphics are complete shit by today’s standards, but it’s just as immersive and fun as it was over a decade ago. Crysis… not so much.
Yeah but I don’t see how Crysis is overrated anyways, everyone knows it could have been a shit-ton better and that it’s basically a benchmark program. I do not think many people ITT know what overrated means…
someonerandom doesn’t know that…
Anyway, I see what you’re saying. Just like how people say Gears of War is overrated even though everyone pretty much hates it now because Epic epically failed at controlling the amount of lag in Gears of War 2’s multiplayer.
I quite enjoyed Crysis. Because I could actually fucking run it.
Bitches.
Yeah running Crysis on full graphics with no shit FPS feels good, I just wish they had put more effort onto the gameplay aspect of it though.
