Distinct lack of Natural Selection makes me :frowning:

I just finished playing Paranoia today. As great as the game was, I was disappointed at the length of the game. It was so short that several enemies only appeared once, and I didn’t even get a chance to use some of the weapons. Still, it’s worth a download.

Yeah it was just getting good when you kill the 4 ā€œdudesā€

and then it’s like no wait, it’s over. gfto.

The plot was going somewhere, but then its like, ā€œHere’s a ton of guns that you shouldn’t really use, because the Americans will just mow you down if you aren’t using the BFG machine gun. Oh, we also made some mini-bosses for you, which probably took several months to create, but we made it so you can hop on top of a crate and blast them away while they get stuck on the wall. Hope you had fun!!!ā€

Seriously, that mod had extreme potential. I think that they spent too much time making a stunning boot camp, and not enough time on the actual combat.

ETC 2.

Very impressive level design and a fantastic atmosphere.

Felt very much like Blue Shift.

Yet everyone hates Blue Shift.
I don’t know why, besides wasted potential. I mean, the basic story was great, and the diologe seemed realistic for the premise, but it was short, and there was so much they could have done with it.
If anyone ever makes a good remake of Blue Shift, they have to add to the story, and levels, but not to the enemies and weapons.

It was simply because there were no new weapons or enemies…

I actually enjoyed it a little more than Opposing Force.
