Your longest download??

At least when it’s an exclusive title the game maker makes money from the console maker so I don’t need to pay for it.

I totally agree with you.

But when the manufacturers put price insane prices on there games, make a shitty story (not that im saying Uncharted 2 has a shitty story), games that i wouldnt even buy anyways, and are exclusive to one console when they obviously dont need to be cough Killzone cough I wont buy them.

Plus since I wouldnt buy the game anyways, i not hurting there income, because i wouldnt even spend the money on it to begin with.

Plus, Plus…Piracy is way to easy, if it was cheaper (meaning in money and in time) to buy the games then pirate them, then piracy would completly go away.

I doubt it. As long as the games cost SOMETHING, people like you are going to pirate them because they’re cheap ass bastards. And no games need to be exclusives, but exclusives are going to pretty much be the selling point of a console. If there weren’t exclusives (as I think was said before) then people would go for the better console, and we can’t have that now can we.

Yes, because then the other consoles wouldn’t be so shitty.

PS3 is obviously superior to Xbox. But Xbox has the superior online system. And better games

Is that your final answer?

Yes

Well that was sort of a buzz kill. Thanks alot Kairouseki :meh:

Secomed, you killed this thread even though you’ve never created a thread as interesting as this one, and that’s saying alot because this thread sucks.

My longest download is 16.8G.:expressionless:

Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT

No DBZ? Early last year I’ve downloaded all 3 in about a month.

I am currently feeling your pain.

I don’t have internet at home right now, so I have to use the local libraries’ wireless internet, which caps at 150kb/s, but is usually at 80kb/s when busy.

I am currently at 2,863 MBs out of 24,234. (It’s the Ultimate Edition with all the DLC and expansion.) It’s going to take me aprox 25-30 hours to get this sucker finished.

When I lived in Okinawa, a buddy of mine introduced me to “LAN” parties and fan films. I had just bought my “brand spankin new” P3, but Kadena only had dial up at the time. My longest download was my very first download on that computer. I went to a fan film site and the comment for the film read something along the lines of the ending rivaled that of the “Luke I am your father” moment. But since I didn’t have quicktime I downloaded that first. 6 hours later I had quicktime. Now for the fan film. Dial up being the pain that it was it took me 8 hours to download this supposedly awesome fan film with a “cool” ending. After 14 hours I downloaded a 10 minute movie with a crappy lightsaber fight and then the Mentos song started. 14 hours for a freakin Mentos comercial! My wife still points and laughs at me:[

Even the internet has to start somewhere.

Back in the dial-up days people used to download 32kbps .asf files and gif files for video

Halo: Custom Edition

4 fucking hours. :expressionless:

East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra. First off it took a hell of a lot of searching to find a download of it at all, let alone one that actually had seeders. Eventually got one at about 40kpb/s. Sadly, it has a 15gb sound library. Took me about a week.

Worst thing is: My pc crashed a while ago, and I lost it.

WoW:WotLK. That took a up about 1/3 of the day

Cinematic Mod 10 took a fu… It took a very long time, I had to download it over several days. 10,6GB and it didn’t even satisfy me. :hmph:

Cinematic Mod is a piece of shit, there’s no other way around it.
