for console I dont quite remember if my first game was Pitfall for Atari or
Dragon Warrior for the NES. just a few months after NES released in the US . . .
I would probably think that Pitfall was my first game . . . my grandmother had an Atari that we would sometimes play when we went to visit. I still have most of her games and the Atari still works pretty decently . . . the First NES game was Dragon Warrior that game really got me hooked on video games . . .
the first PC game I played was Decent 2
Myst and Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed, technically, Myst was first, but only by 2 hours.
(That is if you do not include the minigames from Hooked on Phonics. )
Good game. We used to use Apple IIs in grade school, we would play oregon trail and build your own monster…they sucked lol.
Ever play Captain Skyhawk for NES?
I never owned an Atari but I’ve played a few games including Pitfall, I vividly remember some game about riding magic carpets lol. I Played Dragon Warrior and Descent once or twice.
I was going to buy Myst but never did…I forget why, I think I may have thought it looked too boring lol. I did play Need for Speed: High Stakes, which came out just prior to PU. That game was sweet.
…O and my parents used to make me play Math Blaster lol.
Army Men Sarge’s Heroes, For the Ps1.
I can’t remember. Half-Life or Rayman.
Mario on Atari i guess
Was some oldschool olympics game on C64 when I was like 6 or 7, which name I can’t even remember. Then lots of other Commodore games.
The first pc game I can remember by name was probably Catacomb 3d or Catacomb Abyss. Tough I’m not a big fps fan (xcept HL)
Oh wait, hold on. Croc might have been the first game I played.
mi remembers playing on crash bandicoot 1 as a little kid on a PS1, my little sister still plays on it.
I have Asteroids on my Atari… (well, my mum’s atari)
Sonic the Hedgehog on SEGA MasterSystem.
Combat on the Atari 2600 - early 80’s.
This is a great example of what “spawn camping” was like in the olden days:

Also, Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Master System 2 and Mega Drive), Alex Kid in Miracle World (Master System)
I think it was Rolo to the rescue… Quite an awesome game.
Alley Cat.
I was five or six and I never figured that shit out, but it was the only game on the computer so there weren’t many alternatives.
Civilization.
Those were the good ol’ DOS days…
Second game was Lemmings.
Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Wario Land 2, Tetris.
