What game has the best soundtrack overall people?

Hands down (in my opinion, of course) Metal Gear Solid has the greatest soundtrack out of of any game I’ve played, seen other people play, and the music listed here in this thread (I’ve tried to listen to each link people have posted if I was unfamiliar with the music).

So, +2 for Metal Gear Solid as greatest ever :smiley:

For me, I’d say the Mother OST, specifically the Eight Melodies song. The game’s music, and even the game itself, was funny, sad, weird and heart-warming. Especially the game’s ending. Although the difficulty level made the game occasionally unplayable, it was still a fun game.

I like those that are titled Still Alive, so end credits theme of Portal and of Mirrors Edge.
I would also say most of BM’s musics, but you’ll have to release it first for that :wink:
