Your awesome moment in gaming??

MGS Peacewalker. It was on the bridge, and I had just gotten a red alert. All the guards were gathering where I was (It was orange now). I had slung myself onto the side of the bridge. One of the five guards came close to where I was with his back turned. I swung up and did a five person, knockout combo on ALL of them. Not a single one of them said a thing.

Going out the double doors into the courtyard in HL2…

Playing a custom level in Quake 1 Deathmatch and rocket jumping past fast fan blades to get megahealth, only to have blown myself too high and get impaled on spikes that extended out of the ceiling.

In GTAIV, causing a bunch of explosions after blowing up a car and being hit by a body that flew out of a car when it exploded.

Piloting a chopper in Battlefield vietnam, dropping my entire crew off behind enemy line, after which they captured the control points, and Then picking them back up again to use them from the helicopter as gunners. Never died, any of us. Or got hit I believe

My first ever headshot in counter-strike ended up also headshotting the guy behind him, it was a good day for me.

I think my most awesome moment in a video game was from…Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…I think.

I was in a sewer level (I think…it was AGES ago!) and there were enemies coming at me from every direction as well as environmental hazards. I did a rush through instead of fighting them and dodged every single hazard without so much as a scratch… I was like a snake slithering around the obstacles on automatic pilot and I was like…damn, did I just do that?

Turning on Black Mesa.

It happened a few years from now.

In GTAIV:
Crashing my helicopter into a building, jump into the sea, swim to the dock only to have the helicopter fall on my head.

When I first started playing MGO I was playing as a sniper. I was so good that I was kicked from the game. Or maybe it was because I shot through one of my teammate’s head and killed an enemy on the other side. Don’t know.

Metro2033: while trying to kill a guard with a throwing knife, it bounced of an armoured part of his uniform, hitting me --> load from checkpoint…damn

if I have to mention CS. one of the times I got permabanned it was because I did a noscope with a scout through the wall after doing a 180 because I heard footsteps behind me and my teammates said I was hacking… I was on the phone with my mom

My first time facing the butcher in Diablo. I saw a room with a bunch of bodies, wondered what this guy looks like - opened the door and :aah:.

I nearly shat myself when he said fresh meat. I ran into a room with a bookshelf and closed the door thinking I was safe, only to have him open the door and kill me in one hit. I didn’t realize boss monsters could open doors until then.

You were on the phone to your mother while playing CS?

…And how to you shoot through a wall without hacking?

You can shoot through walls in Counter-Strike. It’s a feature.

best part of that feature is in cs_assault. You go up to little back room where they keep the hostages and shoot the fucking hell out of the wall with a machinegun. If there’s people holed up in there, you might hit them in the foot after your shots end up murdering all the hostages.

I wish more games would have that, the ability to shoot through walls.

I like the feature where my gun automatically aims at all the enemies coming towards me, and instantly fires my gun as soon as they enter my FOV. Makes playing so much more enjoyable.

Are you confusing wall hacking with wall shooting, per chance?

There’s a difference?

Now I’m honestly confused. Since when can you shoot through a brick wall?
