World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor

Given that most of the game’s appeal seems to be end-game stuff, I kinda doubt that trial accounts will give you the proper impression.

That’s kind of my point. It relies on a prefab linear experience. The world itself isn’t very interesting.

I think that depends on realm’s population as well. Getting ganged by horde every 3 minutes seems alive enough to me :stuck_out_tongue: Stuff you can do in the world other than quests… professions I guess? Also Pet Battles since MoP.
Have you tried more of a PvP or PvE? Also supposedly in Warlords of Draenor at least, they are adding events similar to Diablo 3 to create a more living world. Like for example a caravan that you can ambush and steal the treasure etc.
Also since MoP they have started to take World Bosses seriously, so more un-instanced PvE, can be fun.

I don’t really play anymore, but as of 6 months ago, grinding is almost nonexistent until you get to Outland because those quests are outdated as fuck, and then it speeds up again when you get to Northrend, and speeds up A LOT when you get to Cata zones.

When Cataclysm came out they streamlined the shit out of the 1-60 questing. So really the only thing you need to grind for is 58-68 and professions.

It’s very easy to overlevel for a zone now. The expansion looks great, but it’s still missing its “selling point” so to speak, like the announced features and the story are fancy and all, but how about in addition to the “future past Draenor” (lol?) also them remaking the “current past Draenor” (seriously they HAVE to sort out the timeline already) and a Demon Hunter class?

Just like MoP, it’s currently missing its appeal because the previous expansions had this “big bad guy” from the very start, but the latest two don’t. Garrosh being a final raid boss came as a “surprise” and WoD’s is unknown and left for us to speculate about. I bet on “AU AU AU version of Medivh, which in fact is our version of Medivh and as such wasn’t our Medivh to begin with”

I just want another Warcraft RTS

You are going to get garrisons!!! Who needs Warcraft IV.

Oh screw the fucking piece of shit garrisons, I’m going to murder rabbits if Warcraft IV doesn’t come out anytime soon.

At least I know whom to blame once Easter doesn’t happen.

As far as I can tell from the info given to us at BlizzCon, the main villain of this expansion will be the guy behind Garrosh and the guy behind Garrosh is Nozdormu (“a cartain Bronze dragon that can control time”).

The dragon in question is https://wowpedia.org/Kairoz not Nozdormu. Although I pretty much doubt he is going to be the end boss. A tiny bronze dragon would be quite anticlimactic. I was serious about Medivh in fact, would be a better match up. Or even Ner’zhul for that matter :stuck_out_tongue: The only thing we know for sure is that it won’t be an orc (confirmed by Blizzard) Oops! That means no Ner’zhul T_T

That’s too straight-forward.

Keeping events from WotLK and Cata in mind, my money’s still on Nozdormu as master of puppets.

Nozdormu already was a boss in Cataclysm.

His Infinite version, Murozund, was. But this timeline’s Nozdormu still remains.

I’m a huge Warcraft fan, yes I like WoW, but it will never be as awesome as Warcraft II was for me

I’m thinking of quitting WoW. They have ruined it for me once they removed true nights from the game in Cata, it lost its unique feel and atmosphere.
Seriously, I care little about class and itemization changes, but don’t touch the weather!!! T_T

Tried the beta, was boring. Cinematic trailer is neato, sad Blizzard’s talented cinematics team are stuck in Blizzard. I liked the Mists of Pandaria trailer more, better music and little to no orc wanking.

where the fuck is my warcraft 4 and good diablo 3

Betas aren’t supposed to be fun, but to be tested for bugs and balance though.
And don’t worry, something tells me Warcraft 4 isn’t that far off. And Diablo 3 is quite good at the moment. The reason people complain isn’t that Blizzard games aren’t good, but because they want them even better. The thing is, there aren’t that many alternatives of similar quality, so maybe people should just learn to enjoy what they’ve got.

And I must say, the graphics are phenomenal for a 10 years old game running on about 13 years old engine lol.
