Wolfenstein: The New World Order

You know (and I am not saying this to be callous) but it was a thing that happened in the past. I agree: it was damn messed up to be certain, and it was a cruel thing to do to anyone or any group of people, but every time something comes up that has some form of symbolism that relates to the Nazi’s, it doesn’t need censored. To be honest, it just doesn’t make any sense to me to do this, because doing this just prolongs the effects of the Holocaust and Nazi Regime farther along than it needs. It’s like they’re just putting band aids over the wound while it slowly suffocates and festers, while it really just needs to air out and become a learning experience versus a taboo don’t-mention-it-or-die kinda deal. That’s my opinion on the whole thing.

If they feel that censoring it helps, then so be it. I see it as wrong to keep it as a hush-hush thing. Not that I think that the German people ARE shoving it away, I just think that the rate of censorship on the topics is a bit over-the-top.

Edit: I see it as kinda like American slavery. We did it. We did it for a century. But we don’t try and shove it away, we try to make amends and try to learn from it, so that it won’t happen in future generations. Not that I think German people and their government ARE shoving it away in all forms, I just find the censorship of the media to be a little over-the top.

Jesus, 20 plus hours of gameplay? That’s great! Well, so long as it’s good gameplay haha

They’ve also stated that, early on, you get to make choice that a has a ton of impact on the story depending on which alternate timeline you choose. It’s a pretty intriguing way to add replay value.

choosing which guy gets dissected, right?

^probably. The game seemed to really focus you on it when I watched the play through. Wonder how it’ll affect it.

Already preordered it. I’m psyched.

Guitarist from Swedish metal band Meshuggah working on Wolfenstein: The New Order
If you guys don’t know who Meshuggah is, this video will explain it.

wierd how they decide to hire Metal bands for wolf and not DOOM (which itself has a significant connection with metal and the like)

Well the new Doom isn’t even in beta yet. Maybe that’s yet to come.

Goddamnit I only have so much time before Watch_Dogs arrives…
May 20th: WolfTNO
May 27th: Watch_Dogs

TWO playthroughs in one week? That’s insane…

You don’t have to do it all at once. No one does. I don’t understand the whole obligation to beat games as soon as they’re released.

I only beat Bioshock Infinite two weeks after I bought it and it was fine.

Took me almost a month to beat The Last of Us when it came out. It really doesn’t matter.

It was a joke, lol
I’ll probably switch between the two games and play them beside each other.

It took me almost 3 months to beat my first GTA game xD I gotta busy ass life. I’m more into multiplayer games now more recently than campaign games, simply cause I can drop in and out without worrying about forgetting the story.

However, I am going to specifically make time for this…it sooo better be worth it.

Yeah I think that’s why games like Call of Duty are so popular. Easier to just play a match now and then in a busy day schedule.

that’s why I’ve been progressing the same skyrim save for 3 years. Still haven’t beat a main quest beyond dawnguard

I hate most CoD’s to be honest. Even the multiplayer on most just plain suck to me, and offer little enjoyment.

I think it’s mostly cause they’ve barely changed over their lives. Well, subtracting some things like kit creation and such.

Things like DoD:Source, Killing Floor, HL2  M, TF2, and a handful of others though are quite enjoyable to me. My particular favorite is DoD. Love me some good realism servers and general WW2 firefighting. I don’t know why I prefer these, I just do.

Yeah, play what you like, man. I can’t stand DoD or TF2 personally, I’m way more of a huge CoD fan personally since MW3. I love playing a CoD match now and then just to keep up my reflexes and stuff.
Of course it sucks when you get into a hacked lobby or end up in a match with a hacker who spams nuke launches but eh, when it’s good, it’s really good in my opinion.
I also play a bit of Titanfall now and then nowadays, love that game, although it’s a bit overpriced for what you get.

Either way, can’t wait for WolfTNO. It looks kinda oldschool but with really good story and some modern gimmicks.

I’ve only ever played CoD 3, but it was pretty fun as far as WWII shooters go.

I really wish, though, that’d they’d drop the modern warfare stuff and just make another WWII game. Ideally without some crazy space nazi conspiracy for a plot.
