Wolfenstein: The New World Order

Personally I completely disagree as I can’t stand WWII games for the most part and a big reason I couldn’t get into CoD before Modern Warfare 1 came out.

COD 2 is the most well made COD imo. It made the whole conflict feel properly horrifying and harrowing. Subsequent CODs kinda lost the point and started doing “war is cool and easy!”

I only ever beat CoD 1, CoD 4 and MW2.

Lost interest in the SP in CoD 2 after a couple of russian missions for some reason, and went straight to MP

I liked CoD 1-3 to be honest.

Why are we continuing so far with this? I derailed everything Dx

Why in the hell does the game have such huge filesize? Watch Dogs is somehow half the size…
EDIT: Right, probably because id Tech 5 and MegaTexture. Ugh.

Unlikely, install size =/= size of download (which is sometimes less than half the install size, yay compression)

Hopefully the huge size will result in good quality textures everywhere, rather than frequently having small areas (usually dark areas) covered in heavily-compressed and low resolution textures like in RAGE.

I doubt anyone considers CoD 4 and onwards any kind of realistic portrayal of war… and quite honestly that’s why I prefer them. They feel like action movies to me and I like that. I’m not a soldier, I have no aspirations to be a soldier. All I want is to play a game and have fun with it. CoD gives me that.

Most likely megatextures and high quality audio.

Most likely yeah. From the gameplay I’ve seen on Twitch the graphics look much better in WolfTNO compared to RAGE. Can sort of tell it’s the same engine but improved.

Moon level confirmed

BEST. TRAILER. EVER.

I was in stitches. I wasn’t really expecting much before, but now I want this game almost as badly as Watch Dogs.

Same, loved the trailer

 1. Speaking that you guys are speaking of good WWII shooters, I was surprised Red Orchestra 2/ Rising Storm wasn’t mentioned. I have been playing that and it’s sooo good. It has a much heavier focus on realism, so holding breath, bullet drop, the whole deal. Also, for a multiplayer game, the establishment of atmosphere is amazing. I actually feel bad for killing people, and they slowly die and choke on their own blood while saying “this is not fair” or something that actually makes me feel guilty. Also, the tanks are actually difficult to control and drive, meaning that they aren’t OP machines of destruction. DOD is cool as well, but I personally like RO2 much more now.

 2. My god the trailer is so cool. The music, the atmosphere, the old school fps mechanics, the snarky and cheesy-ass one liners… This game has it all.

Brace yourself’s.
edit: Here’s more.

I think they’ve accidentally the whole AI.

I can only hope the day one patch they’re making will fix this issue.

Oh god, that’s almost sad to watch. Hopefully that’s really what the day-one patch fixes.

Just came across this website I found on NeoGAF, regards to the video I posted on was on normal difficulty mode.

do not watch if u dont wish to be spoiled

^btw that was censored german version of game, original verison is not censored

idk I still haven’t preordered but I kind of find it hard to believe that AI is how the game is considering all the other footage I’ve seen where the AI worked perfectly fine.

If that’s really how it was then they’ve been extremely lucky that it never happened in the live demos or press/player playthroughs.

I think the AI was more skilled than the player in that one, it only lost because of instagib counter-melee
